exactly, which is pretty much like saying all Asians look the same. You see, it's just like being racist (anything can be equated if you stretch logic far enough!)

Obama is a leader, and so is Kim Jong Un, and they both happen to like Basketball. Amazingly, they are not the same.

Really man, Donnie is the smart one? Meaning, Leo isn't an intelligent leader? Mikey couldn't tell a witty joke? Raph isn't street smart?

And ultimately, being smart isn't being a nerdy geek. It could mean quiet and thoughtful, or brash and arrogant. it could manifest as insightful and wise, or sardonic and patronizing.

OR it could be a mix of all of those things, in what one might call, a well developed character.

Well... if we're going that basic for "personalities," I suppose it's right. I'm not quite sure 'leader' and 'smart one' are personalities...more just a trait and their central role in the family/franchise. I'd like to see Pete be able to give Leo more personality in the voice acting rather than just sounding too gruff the entire time. So one dimensional...

I was never trying to argue that Michelangelo wouldn't look like a real breathing, creature, but that giant humanoid turtles don't exist. No matter how real he looks. Despite what a couple people of said in this thread, these turtles I have not been revealed to the public. They are not known to exist. They're not 6-foot teenage mutant ninja monkeys, that might be mistaken for a real world gorilla. They aren't Bigfoot, which some people speculate actually exists, or zombies which some people believe are possible. They don't look like anything in the world that's real. Even if you saw one that looked like flesh and blood, in that environment, you would have to think it was a trick.

You're REALLY going too far into this. The writers have no excuse for having April as the main character, therefore giving the Turtles a lack of development, but you're not making sense. Saying all Asians look the same is a stereotype. But saying that "Leo's the leader, Donnie's the smart one, Mikey's the jokester, and Raph's the hot head"? That's not stereotyping, that's listing off their major, and most well known, character traits. Sure, Leo IS a very smart leader, Donnie IS more useful than being smart, Mikey HAS a much deeper role than making quips, and Raph DOES have a soft side rather than being angry. Hell, even the THEME SONGS show these basic traits that each of the Turtles is known for. For god's sake, man, you're arguing JUST to argue.

Not nearly enough writers over the years have understood this. That's why I like Mirage & the first movie so much. Those, very much do. & Nick's been quite good with it too.

Actually I think the turtles will be outed in this movie at least to some degree.

Now if it's just the the police force that are aware of their existence and Laura Linney is their James Gordon/George Stacy/Jeane DeWolffe or just a modern urban legend I'd at least give it a shot but just like the fact that they can't seem to let go of the joke of a turtle mingling among people in costumes we know that they wanted to out them in the last movie and strongly suspect they've still got that itch.

Definitely. Which is why I can't help but roll my eyes whenever we get a opening scene of Leonardo training, Raph punching something, Donatello working on an invention, and Mikey reading comics, while Splinter meditates in the middle.

Nick does that, but you'll also see an opening scene with Leo watching anime, Raph playing with toys, Mikey cooking, & Donnie drawing. Variation. Dimensions. Mmm, good.

Yeah, I been seeing all over Twitter, Thatthey shot a scene on a Ferry Boat, But nobody had a pic until now.

I doubt it, Not much room to fight on a boat, who knows where the final fight will take place.

Maybe they will borrow from Secret of the Ooze, and the final fight be... at a Night Club?

Well... at least their locations and order of filming will make it harder for people to try to figure out the plot I guess. Next they'll prob be at a local mall. (They can get new accessories while they're there since they are outed now. Mikey will soon own every boob emblazoned item from Spencer's.)

Considering movies are usually shot out of sequence, Maybe the ferry boat scene is just the Turtles sneaking into an enemy's base.

I don't know how true it is but I read on twitter that it's a party on the boat. If it's true isn't this three or four parties that are depicted in the movie now?
