Y'know my first thought on reading the rumor was the end of the Fantastic Four movie from '05 where they are celebrating the FF saving the city on a boat. I could totally see them doing something like that here.

This is a bit of a stretch, but maybe they're on the boat to get to the Technodrome? Maybe Krang landed on Liberty Island? I dunno. I feel like this movie's going to have a much longer runtime.

@DarkFell - if memory serves, the scene in The Crow: City of Angels was a Dia Los Muertos festival, not a combo Halloween/Dia Los Muertos parade like this one seems to be doing.

Actually, it was "Devil's Night", apparently a Detroit area-specific "event" the night BEFORE Halloween that usually involves vandalism, arson, riots, and lots of other random mischief by folks who figure they can get away with it on one night of the year since the general atmosphere of Halloween will get the blame for it. (IE, it's the whole "it's Halloween season, what do you expect?" mentality.)

"Mischief Night" might be a bit more local in name for the Turtles, also the day before Halloween. (Although at least down my way not nearly as terrible as that "Devil's Night" version. I only ever played with a few rolls of toilet paper in my own neighborhood.)

I thought Devil's Night was just for the first movie? I didn't think they were referencing Devil's Night at all in the second one... unless maybe I was always just interpreting the parade at the end differently?

Hmm, I have NO idea. *shrugs* (Maybe? You could be right on that one.) I only ever saw the second one once, and don't remember much. Actually, I tried to block that one out....

It seems there will be a Transformers spinoff film so the spinoff character will be seen as a part of a parade in a scene in the upcoming film.

Old news, photos were posted here days ago. (but due to people going off topic here those pictures could be quite few pages back) It's just a person dressed up in a Halloween costume as bumblebee for a Halloween Parade. So basically it's a Easter Egg in the movie, thats all.

There was also a picture of someone dressed up as Optimus Prime and 2 people dressed up as 2 Astranaults from Armaggeddon too.

a lot of News outlets misleading with there headlines, Its just a dude in a Bumblebee costume at a Parade, Its more of an Easter Egg, and nothing to do with Spinoffs.

Anyways, Just read on twitter that, They will be filming during the day on June 13 Saturday, They will be shooting Inside and Outside in NY.

I wonder if we're going to get anything at SDCC. Based on the footage they've filmed so far, you could put together a semi-decent trailer.

I don't really understand people not wanting these movies to be made. Sure, the first one sucked, the second one will probably suck, but what do they care? Nobody's forcing people to watch them. I can understand wanting a better movie. But it seems like some people are going to feel embarrassed by these crappy movies or something. "Lol, you like the tmnt, and the new movies suck and are stupid, so that means you are stupid and must suck too." Are people that worried about the legacy of the tmnt and how it reflects on them as a tmnt fan?

None of the above - people just don't want the franchise to be turned into utter crap and then have it be successful enough that we get stuck with that particular incarnation for the next 10 - 20 years.

No movie is better than bad movie, every time.

Isn't about how it reflects on me as a fan.

I just prefer good movies.

Sure, everybody prefers good movies. But to prefer there to be no movies over bad movies, doesn't seem to follow.

Sure it does. It's like - would you prefer something bad, or nothing at all? Would you rather have be given a hot chili pepper enema... or nothing at all?

I mean, we're not talking about stuff that's essential to survival here - like bad food being better than no food at all. We're talking entertainment. Why piss away money creating rubbish? That makes no sense to me. Why would you want there to be more low-quality things in the world? That kind of attitude is how we end up with five seasons of Jersey Shore.

Yep. This.

I don't understand the mentality of "well it sucks but at least we're getting something."

Raise your standards.
