Super pumped. Got to Target at 8 am and bought the last Jigglypuff. They had one Wario, two Pac-Mans, four of each Inkling, and three or four of the Splatoon three-pack. Looks like all the non-Smash amiibo will be common, thankfully.

I'm hoping so. I didn't find ANY Splatoon amiibo here, and that's what I went looking for. Our Walmart only got four Charizards, six Pac-Man, and nothing else. Gamestop got about one of each Inkling, I don't know if they got Robin or Lucina at all, I don't think they got a single Ness either, and a handful of the rest.

A friend of mine in the midwest, however, managed to snag me a Lucario when they went to TRU this morning.

Got Splatoon yesterday, and all 3 of the Amiibo. They are awesome, amoung my favs. I also managed to order Silver Mario, so that is going to look awesome next to my Gold Mario.

I got the boy and girl amiibo. Honestly, I've scanned them in to Splatoon, already, and I still don't know what they do.

Yesterday I saw all the Splatoon amiibo, which will thankfully be common. I also saw Greninja and Pac-Man, but I only picked up Greninja.

amiibotap is free, if you like cute little demos. I find it to be an amusing reward for buying them. In Smash, amiibo are customisable fighters, they unlock costumes in Mario Kart, they give you rupees in Hyrule Warriors, they unlock extra missions in Splatoon, and they uh... do something in that Kirby game. I don't remember what they do in Mario Party 10 but I don't give a rat's ass about that game anyway.

They seem to do a variety of fun little optional things in a variety of games, not just one game. If you like the figures, they're also very nice to collect and display if you don't have any compatible games -- besides, there's no telling what they'll come out with that'll make use of an old amiibo later.

I know, I'm SO proud of myself. I never opened Robin or Lucina because I actually preordered those as a birthday present for my brother. Until he comes to visit, they're hanging above my door as my trophies. :V

Got back from vacation to a clusterf*ck of garbage, including missing Amiibo packages (still 1 left to track down) a destroyed Greninja (courtesy of my cat) and a big zero on Jigglypuff.

I do have my two sets of Robin and Lucina though, so hopefully I can parlay one of them into a Jigglypuff and keep my unbeaten Amiibo streak going.

Missed my chance on pre-ordering Wooly Yoshi from Amiami. Saw a post "They're up" as it was made, live, & before the page could even finish loading (which was nearly instantaneous!) they were gone. Yikes! Hopefully getting a blue one won't be TOO hard in the secondary market, 'cause I am in no way paying scalper prices. Hell, I barely wanna pay more than retail, so I'll probably just have to say F*ck It.

zavvi cancelled my greninja. I was anticipating it though. Got one from a friend who buys a lot of extras to help people out and it arrived yesterday.

And with it's arrival... I now have every amiibo, yay! Including Gold and Silver Mario variants.

I really dig the Splatoon amiibo three pack. The glossy paint apps to better simulate fresh/wet paint. Really nice sculpting too. Some of the best ones the've produced.

I'm also wondering how long I can keep up the streak. It takes a lot of vigilance to get everything secured at retail price.

We all know amiibo will be announced at E3, but are there any specifics people want? I think Smash is winding down, maybe 2 waves left.

I'd love to see a wave for Starfox U, but that's probably just wishing thinking.

Maybe a SMB wave 2, with Mario Party versions of DK, Wario, Rosalina, and new characters like Daisy or Waluigi. I'd camp out at stores for a Waluigi amiibo.

Well I got a Silver Mario, don't care for him but I bought it because I wasn't sure how rare he was and thought he might make good trade fodder for other amiibo. Like I've mentioned if you think you have it bad in America or Canada then you haven't seen it in Mexico where you can't preorder crap online and store employees are the scalpers. I'm glad I never opened my Pit/Captain Falcon/Little Mac amiibo. I really wanted to own them but I think I may trade them for other characters I really want like Mega Man/Sonic/Pac-Man, etc. Yeah, situation sucks here.

I did read that some would be re-printed right? Hopefully they're easier to get...

Everyone keeps telling me Pac-Man is super common... is he just super common and super popular? 'Caaaause every store I've looked for Amiibo at, he's the only one consistently with an empty peg.
