The good thing about 50 Shades existing, though, is that never again can women argue that they have taste. Any guy can just grab that book or that movie, point to all the money it continues to make, and it's Point Proven.

Bah - the only thing that 50 Shades proves is that some people have pathetic (or non-existent) sex lives.

Men also didn't write "Taken By The Triceratops", or any of those other "romantic dinosaur" novels all over Amazon. All women! How do you explain THAT?

Well you know Triceratops are pretty sexy...
And yeah I'll watch the first Saw. But if I hate it I'll have to challenge you to a Chicago Streetfight wearing only jeans while a crowd obnoxiously chants "CM PUNK" behind us.
Anyway saw White House down and Olympus has fallen as well as Hercules these past three days. White House down is ok, Olympus has fallen is a much better movie with IMO a better cast. Also is James Woods just really good at playing terrible people or is he a legitimately terrible person? He killed it as both Hades and as the crooked Senator guy.

I think you're seriously underestimating the allure of saurian sausage. Besides, a man wrote a "romantic" novel about The Dress. Prosecution rests, your honor.

Let's face it - no matter what your gender is, we're all just a bunch of perverts.

Those are a thing? It's not often that I feel sheltered or innocent. Thank you for this brief moment... which, of course, ended by being shattered into a thousand pieces.

I feel so alone.

And I saw "Ex Machina" last night. That was mindblowing... terrifying, too, when Caleb starts doubting his own humanity.

Watched "The Man With the Iron Fists" last night. Interesting movie. I didn't realize when I bought it that it was a Tarantino flick, but after watching it, maybe I should have known. Lots of blood and gore, and a really unusual and cool soundtrack/score! It sort of felt like a mash-up of A Knight's Tale and House of Flying Daggers. I was a little worried it might be a dud, since I found it for under 4$, but I was actually surprised that it turned out to be decent. The martial arts action was AMAZING, if a little over-the-top, but that's normal for movies like this, and it was fun! Heck, it was worth it for the action scenes alone, which admittedly were about 75% of the movie. The characters were interesting and I liked most of them, particularly Kurt Russel's "Jack Knife" (I giggled at his name) and Lucy Liu as "Madame Blossom". Bautista was cool as a bad guy, and I even kind of liked him, in spite of how brutal and mercenary he was. Overall, cool movie, wasn't disappointed.

I just recently saw Inside Out last weekend. Awesome movie! Definitely recommend it for any Pixar/Disney fan.

Oddly enough, I'm more excited about Pixels than Inside Out.

Just saw X-Men Days of Future Past.

It was okay. Not the best, not the worst either, buuut. It's hard to suck as bad as X-Men 2 did.

Some off the effects was way off though. Like the effects for Iceman, Firestorm and Colossus just looked too shiny and too "good". Especially Colossus, he should have been brushed metal instead off that insane fake looking shiny thing they made for him. But, beyond that the effects was pretty good. The Sentinels was freaking creepy and I loved the future design of them.

Seriously? I think you meant X-Men 3.

I really wanna see Pixels. Sounds pretty 80's, if you ask me. But I don't know what it was going for.

It doesn't come out in the UK until next month.

The Cold Light of Day

One of the worst movies I have ever seen in a while. But nonetheless, I enjoyed seeing Henry Cavill in a movie other than something superman related. But whatever.
