Alright, am I the only one fed up with how repetitive this sounds? Kraang Prime is back, he's got a Technodrome, yaddah yaddah yaddah. This happened in the last two season finales. I wouldn't mind the invasion theme again if they had set up the invasion like they did in seasons 1 and 2. Now it's just "The Kraang are back... again."

Bishop being one of the Kraang Droid models doesn't surprise me, but I do hope they give him some sort of difference so that way it's easier to distinguish him. Kind of like that red suit he had in the 2003 series. Anyways, I'm super excited for Bishop, as he may be the saving grace of the season. It's also super exciting to hear more about the Utroms and more about the origins of Kraang.

Also, Bitsy, you're not allowed to rest. I NEED MORE.

Bishop was an ideological ally for all of THREE episodes. "Bishop to Knight", "Head of State", and "Day of Awakening", roughly 100 years in the future. Plus I THINK he might have been at the wedding of Casey and April.

All of Seasons 3 and 4, enemy. Season 5, enemy of an enemy.

Does Bishop look like a Kraang Droid with glasses and a different uniform? Does he at least have emotion or something like that similar to Kraang Raph?

^That's my biggest concern about Bishop being an Utrom. I really want his face to convey emotion.

What bothers me about this is Bishop's goal was to protect the Earth and protect the humans of Earth not an alien himself out to protect the Earth from a specific alien race. I will accept it on condition IDW uses Bishop in a way close to how 4Kids originated the character.

That's pretty much exactly how I feel about it.

If IDW keeps Bishop the same as he was in 4Kids, I won't really care what Nick does.

I admit I'm mixed with this change in character. Bishop has never actually been a villain as he truly believed what he was doing was for good of human kind. But he was never a friend before Fastforward, he was an anti-hero and an antagonist. And I do feel his character is served better in this form rather then having him be an ally right from the start.

But at the same time there are things Bishop does in the 4kids show that Nick won't such as attempting to vivisect Mikey actually vivisecting Leather Head. Running all sorts of tortures on the Turtles for the sake of scientific research.

I'll wait and see how this goes though. It may prove to be interesting twist.

They hinted at the EPF returning so perhaps Bishop may have a role in that.
Edit: They actually straight up said the EPF is returning.

IDW is where my interest is vested like you. Similar to Bebop and Rocksteady we get it both ways. It fits Nick's storyline to twist the character into something different so it works with what it going for and its fine. The lesser but arguably superior product that is more prone to taking original molds opposed to just names will serve the character better in the sense of who the character is. I know Tom said he wanted to use Bishop, but is anything official?

Victoryangel, Ra's al Ghul did not see himself as inherently evil as he tried to preserve the Earth even at the expense of a percentage of the human population. So yeah, Bishop is still a villain though he does reform.
