What Would Happen After Divide And Conquer?

After the events of what ended up being the finale what do you think would have happened next in the series? Not what you wanted to happen, but think would have if it continued.

Splinter left the Turtles and they continued to have missions but were able to handle it on their own with help possible from April etc.

I think Dregg would've came back. I don't think he's that easily defeated.

Its hard to say. I'm not sure if Lord Dregg would have come back for a third season, but then I don't think Shredder/Krang would return as main villains either.

Its quite possible they would have come up with a new major villain. I always thought Dragon Lord in Next Mutation felt like what could have been a Lord Dregg replacement if he appeared in the original toon instead.

Some kind of spinoff seasons with the turtles being older.

Dunno. It wasn't a bad ending at all, tbh. Splinter said the Turtles no longer needed a guide and that he had taught them everything. Although the Turtles' lives are pointless if there's no trouble around the corner. So maybe they'd occasionally fight a bad guy or two once in a while. And since Shredder and Krang never really died and were just left off in Dimension X, there's no guarantee that they'd not come back and have an epic final battle with the Turtles.

I'm more interested in knowing what the Turtles were doing in the 2 years between Turtle Trek and The Unknown Ninja.

I was surprised when it said two years had elapsed. It would seem like just a few months. One thing we could theorize was Megavolt struck again as the clip of them fighting ninjas dressed like his henchmen are seen in the opening of The Unknown Ninja.Other than that clue it is a furssing game.

As for what would happen after the final episode I thought a new main foe would aplear or Shredder and Krang would return. It seemed odd that they were thrown into a portal to Dimension X just like Dregg who continued to strike from there instead of Shredder and Krang.

Well, ye, Landor and Merrick had told the Turtles in that season 10 three-parter that they'd meet Carter in about 2 years or so. So at least 2 years had passed since they destroyed the Technodrome by that point. Kinda of a missed opportunity having the Turtles of the past acting exactly like the ones of the present. It's as if they hadn't gone through any character development whatsoever. The onyl "character devleopment" the Turtles had in the series was after Shreder Triumphant. Suddenly the Turtles stopped enjoying pizza and smiling even when they made puns.

And if the show had had more episodes, it wouldn't make much sense for anything other than Shredder and Krang coming back stronger than ever for a final showdown. Also, remember that Shredder and Krang had eventually warmed up to each other. Shredder always wanted to stab him in the back, but in season 10, you saw them getting along fine. Shredder and Krang on the same side could be more dangerous than ever.

Well if Turtles forever is any indication, Shredder came back and everything went back to the status quo of season 6

Yea those definitely weren't the Turtles and Shredder of the Red Sky seasons.

Since Dregg ended up in the Technodrome at the end of Divide And Conquer, he would probably find the Technodrome useful and have his microbots rebuild it and get it working and he would be in control of it.

Carter would come back from the future.

Maybe Bebop and Rocksteady would come back. If they did, they would mutate the same way Leonardo did in season 10.

Carter coming back would mean he got his mutation cured. And Carter without mutant powers is weaker.

Bebop and Rocksteady were mutated from a different batch than the Turtles, so nah, it would not have affected them.

Yea that one was odd considering Donatello told Splinter that his mutation could get unstable in the near future as well. Not that I'm complaining, since I didn't want to see Splinter mutating, but it is odd how they only implied it could happen and never mentioned it again.

Maybe Splinter mutating is something that could happen after season 10.

I doubt. But after Leonardo got definitely cured, Dregg said that his genes were permanently altered. Leading us to believe that Leonardo would suffer future consequences in the future or something like that, which never happened.

Who ever said that two years went by in between Turtle Trek and The Unknown Ninja? Either Landor or Merrick claimed that "two years and fifteen days" had gone by in between Turtle Trek and A Turtle In Time.

I really doubt they fought Dregg for two years, though. It makes more sense to me that time had passed between Turtle Trek and The Unknown Ninja. Shredder doesn't even get mentioned in season 9. Meaning time had certainly passed to the point of them almost forgetting him.

I assume Dregg died after he was thrown in the portal. Krang's Android Body had him locked in an inescapable body hold and it was going to explode. He probably died in an explosion off-screen.
