Great Episode loved the Ghostbusters 2 reference in the Statue of Liberty. Every time I see Rockwell with that helmet on it just gets me peeved at the playmates toy. But ya all the usual Raph complainers need to watch this episode.

This was a fantastic episode for sure but one really awesome Raph episode out of 26 doesn't quite cut it.

Mondo and Ray were the only mutants on the original Mutanimals and the current roster in IDW includes Mutagen Man. It's not like there isn't precedence.

I've got a question. We have the space arc coming up so anyone who can offer some clarification on this feel free: Armaggon is an alien shark with a metal shark suit that can presumably float, probably has a whole race or could be last of his kind. Newtralizer and Mona Lisa are Salamandarians, and then we have the Triceratons. How are they all going to relate to each other? My thought is that the Triceratons are the guardians of peace, despite how radical they seem to be. Salamandarians are either just equal residents of space or bounty hunters. Then Armaggon could also be a bounty hunter of sorts but could be focused on the revival of his race, if he is the last of his kind. Thoughts?

My Feels. Almost cried. Just after Zog regains his sanity and completes his mission, he "dies". Not to mention Raph cared about him even after one night.

What really touched my heart was Zog's speech about how humanity is filled with lies. That was straight up poetry. Right before he started beating the shell out of the turtles.

This is the best we've seen Raph all season IMO. Nice and genuine, and not too much of a hothead to the point where it gets annoying and detracts from his overall character.

While I do consider it one of the best episodes this season, I really wish you know who didn't do what he did. I was liking that character.

Barring that, I just wish there was an extra scene of why Raph wearing his Vision Quest gear again. At least Leo was justified, but I guess it feels weird with no explanation. My opinion may change, but for now this was an excellent episode.

Also, anyone notice that every episode 24 of a season is one of the best of the season?

Since the Turtles are aware that the Kraang are back, I think they should consider leaving the lair.

Also, I think that the Kraang are this shows equivalent to The Federation.

Great episode! I loved the return of geeky Leo. Plenty of little moments that made me chuckle, especially Mikey's line about the narrator and how the Kraang kept trying to get away from Zog.

From Zog stepping on the Kraang to his willingness to kill himself for the empire, I like how the Triceratons are showed as a more serious threat than the more comically inclined Kraang. I think they did a good job in that regard, for setting up the mood of the Triceratons before their arrival.

Also Zog was almost like Slash 2.0 for Raph. He bonds with a huge, strong guy over their love of beating things up and a common goal, but then they try to murder his family, reject his friendship and then fall off a building. (Raph: "Take my hand! Don't you let go. Reeeeaacchh!") I consider Slash and Destroy and this episode to be Raph's strongest episodes, so it's a bit interesting to see some similarities between them.

I was under the impression the Vision Quest gear was special and for special occasions, so I thought it was a bit weird as well that Raph would wear it just for a routine patrol. It kinda loses it's importance in that regard, since otherwise it by itself could become a symbol that the turtles are about to get serious. But oh well, it's still nice to see it used again.

But when kindness was shown to him by an Earthling, he was a bit surprised but just did not want to show any form of emotion to him.

I'll miss him too, I love Lance Henriksen, especially in Aliens.

I'll miss Zog too he is a good character. But I wonder if he has tech or dna that helped him to be impervious to Dr Rockwell's mind thingy which I think might end up helping the turtles crack the Brain Worm code. or not.

Man that was freaking awesome! I can not wait for the rest of the episodes.
The detail on everything is so crazy.
I really love having so many characters in the show and the fact that they keep coming back unlike the 80's toon.

Definitely one of this season's best, in my opinion. I chuckled more than I should have at the whole Crognard thing and especially at Leo being dumbstruck by the fact there's no follow-up movie. Seth did a great job at delivering his comical lines this episode.

And the Triceratons? Looks like they're shaping up to be even more menacing than their 2003 counterparts. The brief glimpse we have Mozar has me giddy with anticipation.

Wait, that was Mozar? Isn't he supposed to have a metal beak, a broken horn and a scarred face? He said "Commander, take me to this planet" which means he probably isn't commander. Is his name perhaps in the credits?
