Secrets of the Sewer: Indianapolis Children's Museum

Quote:
Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer

Sept. 26, 2015–April 10, 2016

Experience the first-ever museum exhibit featuring the four heroic ninjas-in-training—Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Leap to the rescue and learn teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving as you work your way through puzzles, mazes, and obstacles. Explore their sewer-like lair, where good guys win and bad guys lose! Since 1984, these four iconic brothers have rocked it with their talent and teamwork, inspiring generations. Now families can now join these pizza-eating, crime-fighting “Heroes in a Half-Shell” to hone their ninja skills and problem-solving intellects while learning the secrets of the sewer! Nickelodeon’s CG-animated series breathes new life into the popular characters and now families will be able to join the team.

Looks like this could be fun for TMNT fans living within reasonable driving distance of Indy.

Exhibit opens next Saturday and runs until April 10 of 2016.

I'll also have someone at the opening day event to take pics, maybe some video, and submit a report.

It's gonna be great if the museum has a model pizza thrower!

Hmm, as someone who lives in Northwest Indiana, I'm only about three hours from Indianapolis. Interesting...

It would be cool if they had some voice actors from the show there to help open it to the public.

Ran across this:

Ok, I wanna go be a kid at heart and play with the stuff.

Love that today's parents may be old fans who get it and are able to enjoy it with their kids (definitely are in that video), and the grandparents, our parents, who didn't get the fascination of it when us 80s/90s kids were young, are at least familiar and able to maybe have fun with it this time around with the grand kids.

I live in NW Indiana, too, but I'm two hours away. Man, I wish I could go down there and see this!

Awesome.

They even have the cheese phone?? Someone did well on the details. (And maybe has to be a fellow fan if they even know about the rarely seen cheese phone. )

This might sound like a stupid question, but can adults visit without children? I mean, it is a children's museum after all.

I didn't see any signs that said, "Adults must be accompanied by minors at all times."

Just come prepared, since non-military adult admission is $21 if I remember. Education and cultural awareness is a business, after all.

Wow, this looks amazing.

I wish it could be a traveling exhibit and arrive at one of the children's museums in the pacific northwest. Preferably Olympia or Tacoma area so I could make the trip.

So many kids could benefit from this fun way to experience and learn about Teamwork, collaboration and problem solving.
