First time since 'The Gauntlet' that this show managed to get an audible "OH SH!T" outta me! :O

Really good finale but it's obvious that they'll just go back in time and save the planet again on some DBZ: Resurrection F ish. Still, seeing Shredder stab Splinter was one of the most visually impactful scenes in anything TMNT!

The incorporation of Bishop was the coolest and smartest thing this series has done since the first Season.

However this is one of the most insulting episodes purely on the ending! I mean, WTF? It literally treated us like kids: completely diminishing the exquisitely created tension and melancholy to leave on a somewhat happy tone for the 3-year olds. F#ck that.

Still, one of the better written episodes by Brandon Auman; definitely harkened back to the mature writing of Season 1 with great character dynamics, world-building and set-pieces.

I was a little dissapointed that a few dialogues of the book did not make it in the episode :/ Oh well. It was a decent episode at all and it was really refreshing to see KSP for once again and the interaction with Prime was A+ sadly too short.

Did they cut a few things from the episode? I think i can remember that Honeycutt had a few more lines but i guess i was wrong.

That ending was staggeringly dark though.

I would have definitely liked to see Brandon Aumann go this far with the other shows he wrote for.

Now that was a season finale!

That music at the end with Doctor Honeycutt felt very Doctor Whoish.

Even when I knew how it will all go done, I was at the edge of my seat when Mikey got capture by the Triceratops thinking "Is he getting separated by the rest like in volume 4 of mirage?".

Also who voiced Commander Mozar because I kept thinking it was J.K Simmons?

Shredder is crazy. He's always been crazy but unlike hollywood crazy, crazy only shows subtly and "I know this button will destroy the world but I going to push it anyway" with a deadpan straight face.

Michael Dorn. He played Worf from Star Trek: The Next Generation and voiced I M Weasel from Cow and Chicken.

I gotta admit, I was extremely skeptical of this finale, even with the previous episodes beginning with Turtles in Time. Ultimately though...

This was an excellent way to top off the season, easily one of the best of the show by far. It really felt like an early season 2 or even season 1 episode, it felt near perfect. I mean, they brought in nearly everyone at this point, but imagine if they ended the show here?

That thought would be so grim, but either way, for a season that was extremely lackluster this episode that kinda everything better. I look forward to season 4.

(Note) I went through too fast. It was a great episode, but the season was still kinda lackluster and stands the weakest of the season. It's among the best of the season and possibly the show, but I can't forgive what happened this season. They can still do finales very well, but now to fix what happens this next season.

Wow, This episode went places nobody expect.

With the Earth being destroyed, I have a feeling that, in season 4 Renet will show up at some point, and they go back in time to prevent the destruction of Earth, and save Splinter from Shredder.
