I wish they would have gone the Nitrogen/Sulfur route for the Triceraton atmosphere. Earth's atmosphere is 78% nitrogen, so there's plenty of nitrogen to go around for the Triceratons. That irked me this episode.

Other than that, I thought it was excellent. This and The Fourfold Trap are definitely high points of this season. Season 3 hasn't been all bad, but it's definitely been more mediocre than not.

That was a well-written episode with a very emotional ending. I loved Raph's portrayal here, it's great to see a different side of him.

The ending was hearthbreaking. Zog choose suicide instead of accepting Raph's hand. I felt so sorry for Raph here, but it also showed how determined a Triceraton is and how much pride they have. Nothing Raph could have said or done would have changed his mind.

Along with that I've wondered how in the holy hell did the Kraang make THE STATUE OF LIBERTY a hideout?

I mean, it's a major tourist attraction that's gonna be patrolled 24/7. Even if they could have used the "closed for repairs" excuse, that could only go for so long.

I don't know much about the structure of the Statue of Liberty or where tourists are allowed to go in it, but maybe the base was in a part where tourists aren't allowed and servellience is at a minimum. And the Kraang do have portals, so that explains how they can get there without being seen.

Yeah, I wondered that myself. Wouldn't surprise me if they made the White House a base next.

Well The Kraang did have complete control over NYC for several months, that seems like a good time to do something like that.

Very good adaptation of the Mirage comic. Zog was fantastic! Shame about Crognard though

Loved this ep! Some cool points- Crognard's death- So funny! The expressions on the faces of his friends.... And the dragon was indeed D&D cartoon's Tiamat! (Slightly altered, of course.) Also- "Venkman was here" LOL! Guess they had to leave their mark on her after they put her back on her pedestal. And the joystick- I squee'ed when I saw that one!

Zog's death was- depressing. Honor is great and all, and I get loyalty to your people, but choosing death over help from a friend? I don't get that mindset. I just can't see anyone's self-preservation instinct letting go that easily. Maybe it's just me. Sucks that they got the signal, though. Was hoping it got demolished too fast. Invasion #3, on the way!

Spoiler:
If they ever make Raph lose a friend like that again I'm gonna be pissed. That was depressing to me. Only this time Zog won't return.

It was a good episode but something felt odd about it. I just a felt a bit rushed this whole Triceraton thing. It was so out of the blue for me. I mean the Kraang coming back, dino-men attacking the Earth. I expected at least two episodes to prepare for the season finale but I'm sure that's just me.
