On the other hand everyone else stinks up all the threads about this movie with how much it sucks, you can share your opinion in threads about your take on their movie but don't stink up every thread with the same crap, it's boring it's interesting to actually discuss what could happen in the movie.

For me the movie is decent, it has plenty of flaws but I think it's salvagable, I liked the turtles interactions with each other even if the rest of the movie was rather iffy. Let's see if the second movie can make it or break it. But no this or any movie doesn't deserve a 1 year anniversary thread, wait for 10 years.
. All I was saying was that. I'm sick of Constantly hearing the people hating on tmnt 2014. My point is, I don't agree with it, but I like the movie. I'm not trying to shove it down people's throats. It's this thing called opinion, you see, it's this thing that allows you to share what you think of something without judgement.

Etsy, it was more than that. You called the people who hated this movie whiners and that's where it escalated. It's fine if you like the movie, but I don't for my own reasons, and instead of respecting that, you're calling myself and others who differ from your opinion whiners. Not cool, dude. Not cool.

Yuuup. And, I mean, not to be a jerk here, but... if, say, you like A Thing, and you spend more time complaining about people who don't like A Thing than you do enjoying A Thing...? That's kind of telling, isn't it?

If you like something, then like it. You don't need anyone else's approval, and you don't need everyone else to like it with you. The fact that there are still flame wars erupting over this movie says a lot, IMO. Sorry if this crosses the line, but... maybe, just maybe some folks are more focused on having everyone support the TMNT "brand" than they are on any genuine enjoyment they might have of the movie?

If you like TMNT 2014, I actually kinda envy you. I would've loved to sit down and actually enjoy this movie. But I didn't. I haven't been verbally attacked for this opinion yet, and I really don't care if someone does verbally attack me. My opinion is valid.

However, don't call people "whiners" for not liking the movie. We're not "whining", we're criticizing the production team, because they must've been on some SERIOUS drugs to think that taking Hamato Yoshi out was a good idea.

Word of gospel.

Squeaky wheels get the grease, people. If you just silently take something without criticism or complaining, the givers just keep on giving. You want change?

Withhold financial reward and b!tch about the product's inferior quality.

I know this film was not a lot of people's cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The personalities of the turtles were right on the money. Will Arnett also made a great Vern. Plus, battle between Shredder and the Turtles and the snow chase scene were both action-packed. I am really looking forward to the sequel.

I don't care if people don't like the movie. It's just the certain people who constantly and non stop proclaim their hate for the movie. I respect you and others opinions. I just don't like it when people try to make hating tmnt 2014 into a religion.

Took the words right out of my mouth but not from the same perspective, because it really really really goes both ways. Some supporters have previously acted like this is TMNT Jesus and nearly pray for a turtle smiting upon those who don't share their acceptance.

For a long time there, esp via the film's FB page, I saw MANY supporters of it making posts basically baiting people who didn't agree with their love of it. Replies I can understand (goodness knows humanity can't not resist having a catty comeback), but I saw numerous non-reply unprovoked comments that seemed to just be there to provoke other people; and from either side, there's no need for that.

Absolutely agreed. It's fine to like or not like the movie, but of the love of all that is good in the world, please respect the views of the other side! And don't just gripe ad nauseum just to rub it in. And that's aimed at BOTH sides.

Some people like rubbing sh*t all over their body but that doesn't mean it's not gross.

Well, TMNT is like a religion to us, and when people who have been given the honor to try and make a movie out of it act like they have no respect for the franchise or no idea what they're doing with said franchise, we tend to get pretty passionate about it. I'm the type who wants the Turtles treated with respect, and Michael Bay has not done that. I'll stick with the Nick show, thank you very much. Yes, that show has some flaws, but for the most part, they treat the franchise with respect and know what the fans want and respect what came before, and that's what I want when someone handles TMNT.

High-five, milady. You have spoken truth, that cannot be argued with except by idiots.

... Not sure how you know that to be a thing, but this particular dawg is ignorant of said group of people and happily desires to remain so ignorant.

Nah, more like:

Eastman, Laird, Lawson: original writers of the Bible
Michael Bay: Beginner's Bible, but with more boobs and explosions (and Orange Crush)
People who approve of Michael Bay's movie: those annoying Latter Day Saints evangelists who show up at your door when you're trying to eat dinner... y'just want them to go away and leave you alone

Caveat: At least the four actors who played the Turtles gave enough of a crap to make the movie watchable. Not good, but watchable.

Not to mention there are people behind it that seem to be fellow fans. Rather than someone who is only a fan of the way it can fatten their bank account. (Sure, film is for profit, but once upon a time it was also originally an art and made for art and storytelling sake.)

Indigo: Truer words were never spoken.

Michael Bay is more like one of those Jehovah's Witness guys who want you to buy into their religion.

People who love this movie are like the Jehovah's Witnesses who come to your door and try to sell their faith to you no matter how many times you tell them you're not interested.

But the lovers never came to any of the disliker's door....It's the dislikers that keep coming to TMNT 2014's door (aka forum/threads). Oooh, the irony. There's the door for you.

Yes we know you secretly like this movie, even if you deny it. Or not, who cares. Don't worry we all fans here. Likers and 'dislikers' thanks for making this movie a legendary box office hit.

Legendary box office hit???

You do realize this film made way less more than Guardians of the Galaxy, right? It's not even in the top 10, bruh.
