Soooo I finally finished the idea I have been working on throughout the month of October, "The Revenge of Hamato Yoshi." I started this project, inspired by reading the IDW TMNT series of comics and the fact that it is the month of Halloween. In the early comic issues, Splinter (Hamato Yoshi), remembers his past life and speaks of his inner rage towards Oroku Saki (Shredder) turning the Foot Clan in to it’s evil ways, murdering Yoshi’s four sons, and murdering Yoshi as well. While Splinter is quite the pacifist, he is quite adamant that Saki must die.

For a while now, I have wanted to use toy photography as a medium for creating a comic book. Since I love my Loyal Subjects figures so much I used them to make this, my first attempt at a series of images that would fit into comic book format. It's only two pages, but I'm really happy with the results. For now, I only did the photos without words. Maybe down the road, I’ll start adding some word bubbles.
