Here is a review taken from Yahoo! It is well written and acts as if this crossover is alternative programming to the trailer to Out of The Shadows.

Eh, read it last night and it was okay. The stuff with the Turtles was best, but the Batman parts were so far just "eh."

Loved the fight between the Turtles and Killer Croc, although I wish we'd actually SEEN the fight and not just the hunt that led up to it. Also loved that Croc was actually not just a scaly cretin, but actually had a pretty darn good plan.

Maybe, but what could Killer Croc do with the few million he would have made off of the Bmobile parts? His frslish appearamce will keep him from being able to live lavishly with the money he would take. Its not like he can dress up in a costume all the time. I liked it not love it. Its early. The confrontation between Batman and Shredder was cool.

CKD, did rhe Archives and Showcase Presents info help you in regards to Flash?

I dunno, I always loved Croc as Selina Kyle's mob enforcer / bodyguard. Maybe he could go into business for himself.

I looked it over, but honestly, any DC or Marvel comics are not going to be anything I enjoy. I prefer them as source material to stories.

He was Selina's bodyguard/enforcer? Bane was Poison Ivy's bodyguard/enforcer in Batman & Robin, but I dont recall what you are referrencing.
You are missing out on getting to know the character.

Killer Croc was Catwoman's bodyguard in the comic series 'Batman Eternal'.

Oh, aside from Barbara 'Batgirl' Gordon I don't read Batman as of New 52. Killer Croc was actually a good guy in Batman Earth One Book II taking a bullet for Batman from The Riddler. Now, I have the funny idea of Selina and Pamela sending their bodyguard/enforcers to fight each other for the other's honor.

Ok. Back on track. Thanks. Too bad DC is overseeing this dream team up. That means we can get panel teases as it is released.

Also in the run of Catwoman that just ended. Selina was running the mob, had Croc working for her as well as Stephanie Brown a bit, and was fighting with Penguin and Black Mask. It was pretty badass.

Next issue Batman will probably fight the Turtles. Everyone knows during superhero team ups, the heroes always fight each other when they first meet.

I expect Batman to take down all the Turtles very easily and only have a tough time with Splinter.

I expect the same thing: Batman takes down the Turtles, but Splinter kicks his ass to a standstill.

...Which in theory would make Splinter about as tough as Bane or Deathstroke. Huh. Well that's not something I believe at all.

Yeah, that's why sometimes cross-overs are silly.

I hadn't thought of it that way. I was thinking more in the same vein as R'as al Ghul, fighting Batman to a standstill or (maybe) cleaning his clock.

Now Splinter vs. Ra's is intriguing. Good show, old chum.

I wonder if DC fanboys will be upset if Splinter beats Batman. Although more than likely they'll stop fighting in the middle since both Batman and Splinter are intelligent enough to realize they're on the same side after a while.

I really don't know much about DC, but some versions of Splinter have won the battle nexus championship, so it shouldn't be too surprising for him to be able to beat Batman or his villains.

as much as a fan of Batman as i am, i really don't see him taking down all 4 of the Ninja Turtles!

besides .... if he's truly the world's greatest detective then he'll figure out right away that the Turtles aren't villains.

Here's my full summary and review of Batman/TMNT #1 at TMNT Entity.

While it was mostly just the usual introduction stage stuff for a crossover, I've got to say that I really dig the artist/colorist team. The book looks really good.

Storywise, it's setup, but as a Batman fan I can say that I like the way Tynion writes Killer Croc. Never liked the mindless monster version that was being pushed through the 2000s.

Killer Croc originally attempted to usurp a top gang in Gotham and then kill Batman to take the underworld until Joker gathered a bulk of Batman's rouges of the time for a triple cross. The Robin that should be wormfood lost his parents in the ordeal that included Robin, Batgirl, Catwoman and Talia. It is chronologicled in Batman#357-359 and Detective Comics#523-526.
