First impression is similar to the TMNT2 trailer... mostly looks slightly better than from the first movie.

Funny that there is no April figure. I guess my TMNT1 April figure is suddenly all the more valuable.

As someone who hates the OT Krang Android Body design I like this more. God, I'm so glad we don't have to deal with the giant baby in a diaper ugly as hell thing in this movie.

I'm sure I will pick up a few things from this line.

articulation looks like the same as the first movie figures.

The Technodrome looks like the most boring playset I've ever seen.

The basic figures are very cool. Probably Shredder is the worst in my opinion. The turtles looks good, but the head sculpts looks identical to the first ones, Splinter maybe is too similar to the previous release.
Probably I will get all the basics but the "disguise turtles".
Not a fan of the new Technodrome toy design...

That Bebop looks an awful lot like the custom one I did for the movies a couple years ago.

I'm actually really happy with how these all look. Granted, the turtles don't look too much different from the 1st movies toy line, but Casey, Bebop, Rocksteady, and Kraang all look awesome.
I'm also curious to see if the Leo, Mikey, and Raph variants are actually seen in the movie or end up just as variants like the trench coat Raph from the first ended up being.

Has there been a time frame given to when we can expect these to be on store shelves?

Krang looks a lot better than I thought he would. I was a little worried after the comments Michael Bay made about him yesterday. We'll see how it translates to the screen.

Opinions on BayTurtles as a whole aside, this new Technodrome:

Looks pretty dang lame compared to the original version:

The new one just looks... kinda bland, doesn't it? If you're going to use the Technodrome, if you're going to go the whole hog on the goofy old cartoon (not my personal preference, but whatever), then at least go for it.

It looks less like a battle fortress and more like a cheap model of robot internal organs.

Especially with all the tubes and such going all over. It's just disappointing.

But hopefully the thing in the actual film will be way more impressive. Which is likely.

wow. Are we all looking at the same pictures? Terrible paint, terrible quality. Definitely not wasting a dime on these. Excited for the new movie, however

Yeah, I'm actually kinda stunned so many like what they see...

I guess it's just acceptance that Playmates will suck and very low expectations.

The lack of detail, screen accurate detail, lack of paints, just a great big "Bleh".
