looking for a ninja turtles book that came out in the 90s

argh.. having a huge headache and need a diehard tmnt fan to help me.

There is a book that came out in the 1990s about the ninja turtles. it has photographs of the tmnt at disney world. also has a brief story/comic about a new ninja.. i wanna say the outer image of the cover of the book was yellow.. i am remembering this book as a child and could not find it in our attic or basement . i really would love to find this book. it pretty much talked about the ninja turtles and their success.

if someone can send me the image and its the right book i will send $3 in paypal as a token of my appreciation so you can get yourself a slice of pizza for your troubles.

thank you and i hope someone can find what i am talking about i spent an hour looking online and have had no such look.

Was it this? There's no comic or Disneyworld photos in it, but it's a yellow covered book that details their success. Maybe you're mixing this up with one of the TMNT Magazine issues?

Don't worry about the money, I'm just happy my wealth of often useless TMNT knowledge was able to make your night.

perhaps you are right though about this only having vivid things i remember.

there still is some ninja turtles book (maybe it was a magazine)

it had like a 2 part in regards to some ninja comic or story...

and in the middle of the book there were photos of when the tmnt were in disney... ill have to find that next.. but i did see one of these on ebay for $7.. and he showed some of the photos from this book so i hope i win!

ill have to keep looking for the other one that i am trying to locate.

Unfortunately I don't recognize those excerpts. But based on the layout & stuff I would guess they're from the short-lived TMNT Magazine as they often did features on trending turtle media of that time & also had comics in 'em. However, I have scans of the comics from it, & none of them are about an "unknown ninja", they're mostly based on newly created mutants or preserving the environment. Sorry I can't be of more help on this part.

I think those pages are from the first UK "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" Annual published by Grandreams in 1990.

EDIT: Eh, I can't remember if it's the 1990 or 1991 annual. Grandreams put out three of those.

While we're talking about obscure TMNT books, were there any TMNT "Look and Find" books made previous to the Nick show? I have seen one online for the Nick show, but I don't think I've ever heard of any for previous incarnations.

You know, those books like the Waldo ones? A fair number of comic books and video games had one back then.

I've just had a look in the first 2 Grandreams annuals (red covers) and the pictures aren't in either of them.

The page below shows all the annuals plus a single photo page at Disney, so they must be from the special or 1992 annual (can't check as I don't have either of them)

Ah, that's right! I also have the 1992 Annual, and I probably even sent some of those scans over to Demon Alucard to use on his site!

Eh, I don't usually take people's money for basic information... especially when I communicate it wrong. Like Powder said, don't worry about it. We're happy to help.

I finally managed to get a copy of this book and remembered this thread, so have scanned all 7 pages from the TMNT at Disney bit and added them to my Flickr account
