Remember the Creep figure? If you watched Pixel Dan's video from Toh Fair 2016, they said that they didn't release him due to how he wasn't that show accurate and small. I mean, Playmates always sell figures that are not show accurate and small. I mean the first wave April (her face), the belt on Dogpound, the bracelets on Fishface, the first wave Turtles, and the pointless Turtle variants. But they always make the tall ones midgets, and the midgets tall. I mean Mondo Gecko and Rockwell are short, but they came out big. Then there we have the tall ones. Mozar, Dogpound, Mutagen Man, Kirby Bat, etc came out as midgets and Playmates didn't, but now they care?

I think the Playmates guy was caught off-guard about questions about The Creep, and made some stuff up. As far as I know, the only place we saw and knew about a Creep toy sculpt was from Ciro's own Instagram with the text "One of my favorite characters that never will see the light of a toy shelf" and a hashtag saying "letsgetthismade".

So this was probably never meant to go past the 3-D printing.

I wonder, why didn't Playmates give details on the Super Shredder figure? I know that it was a spoiler, but I mean like when they will release the figure or at least something.

I know, and you'd think since it uses so little plastic, Playmates would make it.

The guy never said that we've all seen the prototype and suprisingly it's not a small figure. He said "The creep he was humungous in the tv show and I don't think we can do him justice by doing him as a basic action figure so we kind of put him on the back burner". So what I took from that was that the prototype was to big to actually be in the basic figure assortment. Which hopefully means that maybe we'll finally get a deluxe line of (bigger) figures that alot of us have wanted since the beginning.

so Muckman isn't coming out until 2017? I thought that playmates Derp said he would be out later this year. This is why I don't like Playmates they are a cluster**** of a company.

I'd like to think they do that for the sake of the vehicles...

True, but there is like rarily any vehicles for the villains at all. The only ones are the Foot Motor Bikes and Kraang Hover Boards. That's all. The scale of the Turtles, April, and Casey are perfect, but if most of the giant characters are characters without any vehicles, then why make them small? I think they must make a deluxe basic figure line for the big guys. But since this is Playmates, is possible that if they do this they will add in some more stupid Turtle variants.

Maybe scope out the Mutations line? Some of the baddies that are available are scaled a bit bigger...or maybe you know that already. But you get a bigger size yet still fits in vehicles for the most part. I have a collection of different things from different lines and I use other things for vehicles in my display. Those vehicles are still scaled to the basic line though. Some of those figures suffice for me. I got Rocksteady. I'm pleased enough with it to buy Slash.

Question About The New Package

As you have have all seen recently, Playmates made new packages for the toys, which have been seen ever since 2015. Now, does anyone know if the Stealth Tech or the Ooze Scooping going to be presented in the new package?

I am just glad to see that Karai will finally be getting a figure of her own. I cant believe how long it took.

As a side note, I didnt know what thread to post this in. But was the standard "Foot Soldier" action figure discontinued? I used to see that damn thing everywhere but now that I decided I finally want one, it seems to have been erased from existence in all retail stores. I can find "Robotic Foot Soldier" with no problem, but the original has proven nigh impossible to find. I am trying the last 2 stores I know this weekend, but it is almost comical (in a frustrating way) how obscure he has become.

I've seen a few of the Foot Soldiers in a few stores around in my place. And yes, I am talking about the original Foot Soldier. And yes, they were in their new package.

They can't speak of dates accurately one employee can't know every production schedule, shipping date, and individual store's stocking policies.

Their product gets shipped out to retailers earlier or later they don't have up to the second details on everything.

This date thing gets tiring especially if you have collected toys for more than one year.
