I recently bought the single Raph and Mikey minifigures and decided to paint their plastrons myself. Turned out pretty good to me if I do say so myself!

Looks great- very frustrating that they couldn't be bothered to do it themselves...

I'm hoping they hit shelves before my birthday. April 9 is about 2 months from the film release so there's a chance, hopefully they don't wait until May to release these. With all the sets planned I'm thinking it'll be 2 waves.

I now have all the 7 boxed single figures. Stealth Leo is easily my favorite so far.

Guys, be on the look out because it looks like the sets are starting to show up in stores now, mainly in New York. I'm going to check my local TRU to see if they have any out yet.

I was at Target today and spotted Mikey with his Rocketboard (I forgot its real name).
The part that pisses me is that some stupid little kid OPENED THE DAMN THING AND IT WAS BROKEN

I f*cking hate little kids and their ignorant parents

My friends' kids will rip into stuff all the time when they grab it, they do the responsible thing and buy the item. Good thing I will never have kids. I like them, but it's too much responsibility to actually have one.

Got these today at at local tru. The Krang set is way overpriced at $20 for 77 pieces even with 3 figures. The single figs weren't even in the system so they rang them up at $3.

That's a wonder that they'll buy it, not many would. (Granted I suppose they may be teaching the kids to do that if it gets them the toy...) The damn kids are always tearing up the little bit of toy crap that we have at my store. Leave it all over, never told NOT to destroy or open things that aren't theirs, never told to put it back. I don't get it. People didn't used to act that way or let their demon spawn do so.

Anyway... That's pretty cool that one set as a light up thing.

Was this cancelled? It's the only set that hasn't been seen and it's not on any of the packages that I've seen.

Update: contacted Mega and it's a Wal-Mart exclusive set, they didn't tell me the cost but they did say it and other sets won't be available until the "end of April."

picked up my very first out of the shadows merch: Kraang cryo chamber mega bloks set.

TRU still has the 20% off all TMNT mega bloks sale, so it's a really good time to go hunt for these as they are starting to trickle onto shelves now.

Sadly my TRU ONLY had the cryo set. I will be checking back, though.
