The chains on the box make it look like something is being chained inside, kinda.

Maybe a mystery character not hinted at already in the trailer that pops up in the movie? Not sure who that could be...

Yeah, probably just a repaint.

It'd be cool if it was a movie Baxter figure but I highly doubt that.

I'm gettin' pretty frustrated; not one store out of 7 in this area has a single item for this movie.

Plus sized Kraang for the SDCC exclusive would be awesome.

Whatever you do don't suggest it will be anything other than a slight repaint or small change to a preexisting figure. You'll be bombarded by pictures of the last 17 exclusives and be given about 80 factoids explaining why that just isn't possible

I had place a site-to-store preorder for the Truck with Leo from walmart.com early last week, since it said it would be ready for pickup last thursday.

Never changed from "processing," never changed the date, and got a cancellation notice and refund today.

Any hints out there when that second wave might show up?

I did see the figure two packs today at Walmart though.

I've had it happen with them. Not with TMNT stuff, but it was an item that was on the website, but seems the store didn't actually have it in stock yet and they canceled it on me; I assume because it couldn't fulfill the store pickup soon enough. It may be a similar issue and the pickup date possibly just an average estimation from the site rather than based on actual stock or shipping expectations. At least that's my guess.

I got a pretty good haul at Toys R Us this weekend. The 20% off coupon made me go a little crazy...lol. I ordered online for in-store pickup the Turtle Lair and Garbage Truck, and when I picked those 2 items up, I also grabbed the 11" Donatello, a 6" Krang (I've been really careful with him to try not to rub off the paint on the eyes but it's a little stressful!), and a Mega Bloks Camo Donatello single pack (which I ended up liking a lot more than I had originally thought I would).

The Garbage Truck is really fun and easy to put together. Some of the yellow and black striped stickers just don't want to stick though, so I'm sure before too long they'll be gone due to regular play. I was surprised at how well the giant nunchucks feature works. One thing I really don't understand is why, in the previews of the movie it makes the truck look very toyetic with the shooting out manhole covers, but with the actual toy, they changed it to "ninja stars." Seems odd to me.

The Sewer Lair is amazing, but as this was the first lair I've owned, I was not prepared for just how big it is. It probably took me a good 2 hours to put it together, but it was worth it. My kids and I played with it most of the morning yesterday. To me, the slide is what makes it. It's a real fun play feature -- that's the part we played with the most yesterday. And the Sewer with the truck together looks really nice.

Picked up the Mutant Melee Six-Pack last week and can't stop messing around with Bebop and Rocksteady. Easily some of the coolest figures they've ever had and some of the best movie-based figures I've ever owned. Makes me even more hyped to see them in the movie!

The Turtles are also cool. The new sculpts and brighter paint jobs make them seem a lot more fun and lively than the 2014 figures. Haven't messed with them as much as B&R, though.

Finally, the new play set is shipping. Expecting mine next week.
I wasn't going to get this but changed my mind. It's different enough, I guess.
