It don't matter if Rocksteady sounds Irish, He has Russian accent in the Nick series.

Anyways, the new trailer doesn't reveal anything about Krang, It looks like they are really saving him for the actual movie, I think its better that they keep the stuff about Krang under wraps until the movie comes out.

Hopefully that early screening that's happening on May 22nd will tell us how much of Krang is in the movie.

I'm not going to be surprised if this does get slammed by critics as it is a Bay movie but I do think it will be better than the last movie.

I'm predicting this will be between 30% to 50% on RT.

They're afraid to show that the Irish guy actually only did mo-cap and the voice is being provided by Paul Reubens.

I thought it was just a callback to the original theme song - they were introduced in the exact same order, and given descriptions that match the song lyrics.

I want to see some real fighting in these trailers, but I'm willing to bet that that's the hardest to animate given all the mocap work involved. but with the acutal movie nearing release that's neither here nor there at this point.

Shell Shocked is awesome and I thought the song we heard in the TMNT 2 trailers was the new one. I hope it isn't because I don't like it.

Shell Shocked was created exclusively for the first film...where as 'Tricky', and 'No Sleep...' (didnt bother to look up their actual titles) are old-school classics, that have been around forever.

I'm willing to bet they are gonna work with another popular artist this time around as well.

No it won't, it's an old song sung by the Beastie Boys but the weird thing is that Adam Yauch put in his in his last will and testament that he didn't want his music to be used in advertising.

but nick's version of rocksteady is a completely new take on the character with an entirely different background from the original. The movie rocksteady is supposed to be the o.g. bumbling street thug turned powerhouse mutant. I can imagine a lot of people aren't expecting him to have an Irish accent

Bingo I wasn't expecting it because of the casting (but to be fair we've only heard him say one line and there was no sign of an Irish accent)

I expect Rocksteady to be delegated to cheesy one-liners...because:

1) the 'actor' is a pro-wrestler by profession, historically speaking, we are not getting oscar worthy work

2) his character has been described as a goofy, bumbling, thug

The voice I personally cant wait to hear is KRANG.
