Then how is it possible that he can be a police officer if he's that crazy and has a short temper?

Admittedly there's not a lot to go on but what we've seen it seems very at odds with what the character is supposed to be. They've even said in interviews this is a much stable Casey Jones.

I know it sounds a small thing to complain about his look when it's somewhat correct but it shows how much they miss the point. Casey fights crime with sports gear because it's implied that's the best he can come up with. Why wouldn't this Casey who has stable job in law enforcement come up with better means to be a vigilante. Instead what we're getting is him whimsically fighting crime with paraphernalia of his favorite sport as if he's Hockey Man.

The implication from Amell himself (and potentially that image you posted) that he pick up even more of iconic elements of Casey's look sounds great until you realize his long and scruffy clothes are part of his character, a character that have no intention of portraying faithfully.

Also I'm not sure I'd agree he acts the same way around April. In the 1990 movie they played it that despite whatever physical attraction their personalities clashed, it was a case of opposites attract, they didn't stand around make moon eyes at each other.

Here are some before and after VFX pics. The first trailer released in December VS the newest trailer.

Not much here. More detail added to the turtles and tank. Some major color correction.

More detail added to Bebop. Necklace is different. Background has been improved with more detail and color correction.

More detail and color added to the turtles. Background is completely different.

Background has more detail. Rocksteady is more detailed. Eyes not so bugged out, necklace has changed.

More detail on the turtles, most notably on Leo's chest and Mikey's sunglasses and necklace (which has also changed.) Background is different.

nice to see the differences in the details in each of those trailers, I'm sure they are still working on touching up the CGI til the movie is released, they still have less then a month to fine tune it.

I thought it was just me that was noticing certain changes and touch ups the color saturation is really good it just pops

Interesting side by side shots. How odd about their necklaces, of all things to change - but okay then. lol I think the metallic reflection of Mikey's was just toned down, but Rocksteady definitely seems to have lost one. o.O His eye, I'm not sure, it may just be that it's a different frame with a more relaxed expression (comparatively speaking). Bebop's got... looser? And the teeth (or whatever those are) were made smaller?

Think the most notable changes in terms of simple rendering quality though are definitely the color as pointed out, but also the shadows in the shot of Raph and Mikey. I had a feeling they'd cut down on the shadows for the initial trailer (allowing them to render it out faster). (Likewise the shot with all four of them, plus note the light shining down behind them, between Raph and Mikey, wasn't even included last time.) Suspect Bebop's mohawk is likewise, having it render only so much (vs actually having changed anything) to make it quicker. Hair is costly on time, they're lucky the Turtles are bald.

Definitely glad to see the color looks better, Donnie did not have too great of a shade of green going there in that first trailer piece with the tank.

The new shots admittedly look better as well as the lighting. I actually like how they changed the necklaces. I wish they would have done away with Mikey's sunglasses.

I can't help but to get this off my chest. The turtles' designs are MUCH better than the ones in the predecessor but I still can't get past the fact that they still look busy despite less junk on them.
