Saw this list for upcomming appearances for Stephen Amell.
https://twitter.com/AmellDaily/statu...27688357826560 ![]() The premiere in NYC on May 22nd, Interview with Kelly and Michael on May 25th, Interview with Larry King on May 27, TMNT 2 Premiere in Sydney on May 29, Special Fan Screening at Melborne on May 30. I don't see any listing for appearances on late night talk shows, but I'll be sure to post of any info on upcomming appearances for Megan Fox and Stephen Amell on those late night talk shows sometime. Oh man... I know It's beating a dead horse to keep picking on these movies but poor Dave Green REALLY can't shoot action.
Doesn't help that his stunt performers appear to be abusing cough syrup. |

And yet Alan, Pete, Noel and Jeremy aren't out making the rounds? That's sad. I want to see more of them. You know, the ones that really matter. Who gives a flying **** about Fox and Amell.

TMNT movies have never hyped the actors playing the Turtles, I can't even remember if they are in the opening credits for the old ones. I know Josh Pais is, but probably not the rest.

Damn. Neither the director nor the "lead" actors get press interviews. That's really, really sad.
The worst part is that getting the Turtle actors to go to interviews/panels would probably much cheaper than getting Fox to go. |

But I'd would love to see them all together for an interview or two. See the dynamic of them all together out of the leotards.

Only have that Amelly Jones clip to go by, which is possibly chopped down a bit, but it looks pretty clumsy. Weird, quick jarring cuts amidst the action. Direction and editing feels kinda film-school level, to be honest.

It does. It's not great but I prefer it over a camera drone flying all over the place

What stuck out for me was the clumsy choreography. The part where Casey puts the stick on the ground and the Foot takes a swipe at it with his sword...WAY too slow. Looks like they were still rehearsing while the camera rolled. 'Okay, so I do this, then...............you do that.' And the Tortoise wink was terribly cheesy.

she said: "...again." alluding to the fact that this may not be their first altercation in the film. and I think this clip is HEAVILY edited. the cuts don't make sense, but like the fight clips that came out to promote Civil War, I'm willing to bet that there are 'beats' missing from this fight. Im actually surprised at the intensity - I guess I was just expecting them to water-down the violence so heavily (due to parental backlash), and I'm just happy to see that doesnt seem to be the case.

why so much hate on the 'dormant animal gene'? is it silly...borderline ridiculous, yes.
is it any more ridiculous than an ooze that when in contact with animals can turn them into anthropomorphic beings? no, not really. It all kinda falls in line. On a separate note, this line had me cracking up.

I get it, they aren't as big of names as Fox and Amell, but hey, if you give them that exposure then they might, gee I dunno, become better known? Then again maybe it comes down to money. Quote:
I sincerely hope they use a little storytelling logic and have the rhino and warthog DNA involved with their experiments and this doesn't actually turn out that we're supposed to assume they somehow already had those animals in their heritage. If they do go that route like normal, using the DNA in the experiment, I will be a bit disappointed if they don't take it far enough to take just one moment in the film to explain the Turtles as a similar case, but reversed, given the whole "turn us into humans" thing. Because in that case, in their case, they'd need it in there, too. And if they don't... that will kind of irk me that in the writing they don't spend a moment to make that simple logical explanation about DNA involvement for mutants, yet spend all this other time for these films creating magic hogosha connections and backstory for why Casey is in that place at that time and other unnecessary elements. and by the way, the "Crisler's Law" you keep throwing out there is a terrible argument because all you're saying is that they can use made-up science to justify the existence of the Turtles themselves, but when someone (using the same made-up science) uses it to justify something you don't like, its a terrible idea. the same nonsense that brought the turtles into existence is what is bringing Bebop and Rocksteady about.

Whereas the mutagen creating humanoids from normal turtles has usually been shown with some manner of logic, reason, and explanation. This ranges from "mutates based on last living thing you came in contact with (Fred Wolf)" to "mutates into anthropomorphic humanoids (4Kids / Mirage)" to "whole lotta science, honestly a bit too much (IDW)". But it's always given a (usually) simple concept which is easy to accept with a nod BUT DOES NOT BREAK DOWN IN ITS OWN STORY. Whereas, "dormant animal gene" makes no sense even in story. Do all black men have pig genes? Do all white Irish men have rhino genes? Does each individual human on earth have a different gene? If so, what drives that incredibly odd random gene? ![]()
