What's the point of the 2 packs? They're more expensive than 2 single carded figs and the baddies come with less weapons

So, I found the disguised turtles today. I picked up Leonardo, and my question is, why does he have four fingers in his disguised form, as opposed to three fingers in the regular form?

Latest trailer shows Don pouring mutagen on his hand, creating a more human-looking hand with four digits. Could extend from that.

That was my best reasoning as well, but I really don't like it at all. It honestly turns one of my favorite figure designs that I was really wanting, into a major disappointment, But if that was what they were going for, why didn't they just give him four fingers and a thumb?

Wow, didn't notice that until pointed out... Now I can't unsee it. And that was one of the more appealing movie figures, now not so much.

Right? I mean, I know it's merely a simple paint in hand swamp job but seriously. I bought the figure, I plan on keeping it, because I like 95% of it, but that I just could not get behind.

Mind you, I can't complain in this case as my local Walmarts are overloaded with the OotS figures. Too bad Spin Master isn't as quick with the regular line.

At least we'll get the disguise figures sooner!

Hm, kinda off putting, but wondering about collectability down the road since if it's a rare, probably-never-happend-before(?) mistake. Assuming it's a mistake... I hope it's just a mistake.

Well they do make great display pieces. And the paint apps are different enough to warrant having them as variants.









My only problem is: I keep trying to display all the new stuff in one place, but they keep bringing out more and more.

I know it's not 'toys'persay, but Cineplex up here have the 3D glasses back up for sale. Picked up Leo and Mikey, which made my little guy happy. They sold out too quickly the last time.

Yeah they did. We got Leo and Raph last time and I went back a week later for the other 2 and they were gone. Even though the kids pretty much destroyed them I will consider getting more for this movie.

You guys have the 3D glasses again? I'd wondered if they'd show back up, really doubted if they would.

Are they identical from before? (Even if we don't get them again here, luckily I did eventually grab an unopen pair for a decent price on eBay a bunch of months ago.)


P.S. Don't know if they've been mentioned, but the blind bag dog tags are back as well. Saw them in Target. (I'd also wondered about those.) They're just dog tag shaped this time, but some of them are kinda cool.

Bought three, sadly none are just any of Leo's, but he's at least present on one. The ones with the mask, weapon, and kanji are pretty cool, I got Mikey and Raph's of those, and the group one #6. ALL of my stickers are Raph's, same set.

Too bad there isn't a Casey one, even though I don't care for the new version, it's still my favorite character. I mean, a dog-tag that's just his hockey mask, man, that'd be rad. Anyway, some of those are kinda neat. I'd rock a Leo one were it gifted to me, I dig the black one with his mask imprint & kanji. As it is, I wear an OT Leo one.

Agree, a Casey mask one would be pretty cool. As much as they are pushing his inclusion, I'm surprised there isn't one for him. Not even Splinter this time.

Yeah, I wish I'd gotten the Leo mask/kanji one. I may look to see what Leo ones turn up on eBay eventually, rather than go spending any more on random chance. I did that last time, just got the one I wanted from there.

I quite like the #6 one I got with all four of them, "TMNT" written on it and the circle at the bottom looks like Leo's old NYC button.

Can't tell by the pic, but I think there are foil ones among these like last time, the back of the package says there's 1 in 4 odds of finding one.




Oh, and a small toy hunting annoyance I just recalled... My Walmart got my hopes up then dashed it all away. I saw a second movie display put out, hoping it might be new stuff, only to find it full of toy weapons, additional basic, non-disguised figures on the sides, and a bunch of Nick Turtles kiddie play costume sets messily added to the back. >.> *sigh* (Also, may TRU found space for the 80s remakes - not that that isn't cool that they were remade - but no movie disguised ones? Come on.)

I remember checking the blind bag toys and the code was on the back upper right corner I believe but it was very faint and hard to read. I'm sure there's some way to figure these things out. Not a big deal I guess but I sent a PM to someone that might know.
