I do regret watching these tv spots, before the tv spots started I thought about not watching them but I gave in and I decided to watch only a couple but those couple turned to a lot more and by the time I realized I watched all of them. These TV spots do creep up on you and still got 2 weeks to go.

There is no argument there, rape should never be a joke. Ask anybody who's been a victim or known one, they'd agree.

I seen a lot of TV Spots and they don't bother me, doesn't ruin the movie for me at all, all they do is make me excited to see it.

I don't know if they've really spoiled that much. Last time, they released full sequences such as the elevator scene, snow chase, and shredder fight.

Hmmmm, you misunderstand me; you're absolutely right, rape is a heinous crime that should never be committed. Two of my closest friends are rape victims and it absolutely disgusts me that they had to suffer through it. Joking about it is a horrible thing to do.

My point is that the fact that we are discussing this on a forum dedicated to a TMNT movie shows that something's wrong. Get what I mean? It sounds a bit confusing, I don't know how to word it.

Firstly, Im sorry for what your friends were put through, wouldn't wish it on anybody.

I don't mind seeing the whole film (via trailers, tv spots, etc.) before its release in theaters for two reasons:

1) I'm a father and my time is limited, and going to the movies is a luxury
2) If and when I do go the theater, knowing things in advance never really seemed to ruin my enjoyment of the story, provided its still told well.

Myself, I wasn't arguing. When somebody makes a blatantly offensive comment, I often like to see just how much rope they're willing to weave before they find out it's a noose.

dont forget the Alley Fight between Casey, and the Foot. but both scenes were so HEAVILY edited, with obvious holes/major moments missing, Im still really looking forward to the finish product.

Joking is actually a pretty good way to cope with trauma, rape is a horrible thing to think about and joking qbout it makes it seem less horrible than it is.But that being said the joke was fvcking horrible, no witt involved at all, it was too reliant on being edgy instead of clever.

Joking helps deal with trauma, yes. None of the assault survivors I know joke about their experience, but I'm sure there are some out there who do.

However, this topic has been discussed and concluded; it has no place in the TMNT forums. The joke was bad, we can all agree with that, but we need to shut it down right now so this section doesn't get locked.

-Shredder mutates Bebop and Rocksteady.
-Bebop and Rocksteady fight the Turtles a bit.

Sideplots:
-Turtles wanting to be human.
-Turtles in general.

-Some half-assed written love story between Casey and April.

Oh, they didn't SKIP over the connection between Splinter and Shredder, they TOOK AWAY the connection entirely.
