I'm still waiting on Michael Bay to stick in a "hawt turtle babe" like he tried to do with the Blue Door script. Hence my signature.

It'd be really organic-- aw ****, wrong producer.

o.O I'd still take Bay over Guggenheim any day, though. Huh.

I mean, both give crappy stories, but at least one of them is entertaining if you're not really paying attention.

One ignores canon, the other deliberately fraks it over.

I, too, will take Bay over Guggenheim and Mericle.

At the very least, if they added said "hawt turtle babe"... we know exactly how that would most likely turn out design wise and I'd at least be entertained - if horrified and possibly insulted for my gender - at all the male viewers who might then be feeling a bit awkward about it...

You do not understand that trying to resist watching them feels almost exactly like that. I want so much to see more stuff, but trying to resist. Like having your favorite pizza in front of you and trying not to eat it. (Even if in this case it was a bit smashed in the box before it got to you.)

In the tradition of "write what you know," the writers are the sort of guys who enjoy farting a little too much.

Spoiler:
I can see it now, script/character development brainstorming via Skype:

"How do we make them seem like teenagers? What do teenagers like?"

"Pizza?"

"Yeah, that's a given. Pretty sure they like that already, have someone research it for me."

"Megan Fox?"

"Cool, she's hot, that works."

"Hitting things?"

"Yes! Anything else?"

"How about farting. I loved farting at that age. I still love farting."

"Perfect! Me too! That will make them so relateable to the audience!"

Surely there are other ways to make them feel real other than their flatulence. April, buy them some Gas-X. That or I'm going to demand there be TMNT promo labeled anti-gas meds for the third film if there is one.

Some people like fart jokes, some people don't.
That's just the way it is.

Stephen Amell was on the Radio 1 breakfast show this morning promoting TMNT 2, sadly I missed it but hopefully it will be repeated on the website at some point after the session is over.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b079mswk

If you can get on it, Stephen Amell, is on it from 2 hours and 35 mins until 2 hours and 52 mins, (a song in between)

I like fart jokes. These movies don't pull them off though, as they try to make them showcase jokes. They work best as tertiary jokes.

I took a semester on fart jokes in community college.

I wasn't being accurate as I didn't include the seconds, it's still the start of it.

In summary:

- bad jokes
- bad fart "jokes"
- a basic "over the waterfall" bit played straight in the year 2016
- winking tortoise
- Looney Tunes plane splat
- still-pretty-lousy-looking CGI

You guys. It's not that it's a cartoon. It's that it's a really dumb cartoon.

I'm trying to figure out what about "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" says "at least one fart joke per movie", but this is from the producer who gave us Transformer testicles and another Transformer peeing on somebody, so... This is just what Michael Bay thinks of you, I guess.

a few pages back - someone screen-capped a new tv spot with additional Krang footage.

I think it came from the official 'Paramount Trinidad' page.
