Lowest common denominator movies get lowest common denominator treatment.

Stunt casting a popular-right-now okay-ish actor who is only meant to appeal to target demos and not "best actor for part" will get asked about other projects.

Paying to see garbage movies makes them make more garbage movies.

The filmmakers behind these movies don't give a sh*t, why should anybody else?

While your point is more than valid, if i was trying to sell a turd i would still make it look as good as i good to bring in the highest bidder...point in case, they should at least set up interviews with people who are going to shine light on what they think theyve done right, to at least make all the money they can from it. I dont know, maybe thats just me but i would have rather been thrown several different good quality interviews that gave us good insight to what were getting than all the tv spots weve gotten, to leave more to the imagination if nothing else.

Like I said, they don't give a f*ck.

They barely even tried, if at all, the first go around and people(not critics) ate it up. Gave them a pretty decent profit.

Now they've included some nostalgic characters and, lo and f*cking behold, people are saying it "looks fun!" and "Finally Bebop/Rocksteady/Krang!" and "It might be better than the first one!"

They've already got your money. Why should they even care?

Oh, NOW they try to look like a comic book movie. Via posing Megan Fox like that.

I'm surprised her spine isn't contorted into an unnatural shape, but I guess that's impossible for most real people.

edit: Eesh, that interviewer...

I don't doubt it. I am curious how long the stupid list will be for this one. Probably pretty long considering how cartoonish the tone is now.

Yeah, it's disgusting isn't it? Here we have these four talented guys that make this movie what it is and they get kicked to the curb and are overshadowed by no talent Amell and Fox. Hell, did they even get a video interview once for this movie? I think not.

Look at the bright side, at least they'll get interviews at the red carpet premiere on Sunday, I wonder if that will be streamed live somewhere.

Bright side? More like dimly lit side. The bright side was reserved for Fox and Amell to help further their careers. Never mind about Alan, Pete, Jeremy and Noel.

Not quite sure how "bright" that is, red carpet interviews aren't exactly all that long, right? Would prefer that they actually get to sit down and talk about it on some show or whatnot.

It's almost like they're embarrassed about the TMNT side of this movie and just focus on those playing the human characters.

Yeah.... as bright as boiling blood in the sun will be when they give them any opportunity to shine.

(disclaimer on anger/sarcasm. My thoughts on this movie are it's a slight improvement, but overall goofy. It'll suck critically but make money regardless)

Ooh, here's an even better side. How about like the Amazing Spider-Man 2 it ends up being the lowest grossing TMNT movie and then the rights can go to a movie studio who has respect for this property in film? Oh wait, there's gonna be nostalgia, Fox, shameless cameos, Amell, and appeal to several demographics without respect by the man who doesn't give a crap on franchises from the 80's? No, the bright side is when the movie meets it's critical detractors as well as the majority of the people on the forums. Maybe it'll be good, but maybe is a strong word. We're all gonna see it in someway, pay or no pay and we're still going to discuss. An endless cycle, but nothing can be done except boycott; we'll see what happens in a week.

I've heard the same. Apparently Felicity nuked a city.

Hopefully this movie will flop, though.
People didn't see Batman v. Superman, two of the most iconic superheroes of all time, because the reviews sucked. Sure, it raked in a **** ton of money, but that's not that much given how big those two characters are.

Hopefully when the critics shred TMNT, no one will see it.

Hmm... the movie's site (U.S.) seems to have background music now that I wasn't hearing before. Perhaps this is a taste of something from the film?

Oh, and the videos still won't play for me... but I now at least get a spinning loading thingy. >.>

But I LOVE how they've put the clickable video options on the screens in Donnie's little tachie video screen laden nook. And others move when touched. Nice work, site designer.
