If fans are this upset about the movies doesn't it suggest there's something very wrong about their approach?

Besides surely you know by now this movie is not popular here and no going ti back down. Heck we know the people involved monitor this site so they know how we feel and know what to do about it.

That's not to say they should make a movie that caters to "us" the die hard fans but no one should be surprised that people here aren't happy that they outright doing the opposite of what we wanted and while this doesn't matter now I think it will now that they've blown their load on what more casual fans want to see.

I too am getting a little tired of just seeing Amell interviewed. Lets get some Turtle\actors interviewed!

I'm in a minority here but I don't really see the point. It's not like the turtle actors are going to give any hugely different answers to what we're getting from the Fox or Amell or offer any deep insights to their characters.

To me it shows what a waste of time and money it has been to go full on motion capture with facial recognition tech. The whole reason for that was to get a performance with depth and "realism" and from what we've seen they are deliberately giving a stylized cartoon-y performance and it's not like the story lines even call for better acting. There's a reason why most people talk about the actors as voice actors, other than that their performances are meaningless.

That's way more humans than I'm comfortable to see them interacting with. At this point they may as well be public super heroes.

If Bay wants to really channel the 1987 show, he should have them walk around in public in bare-bones "disguises" like they used to in the cartoon.

Seriously, these are cartoons. Not even good cartoons. Really bad, mind-numbingly stupid cartoons. With practically Xbox 360-level CGI, at that.
