I'm not personally against Krang having a deeper voice or Garrett doing it but this is a poor justification. Nothing in this movie based on anything we've seen or heard suggests they want to portray anything as remotely serious or a real threat.

So in the last movie Raphael slams into a truck and completely destroys it on contact. But the plane doesn't have a scratch on it.

Wait a minute. You've been expressing non-stop how much you want the movie to be cartoony and goofy and "fun". Except now you're saying you want the villain to be "serious"?

They make dozens of them, for pretty much any movie.

At this point I'd have to wonder if some people here would love it if this movie cast the re-animated corpse of Adolf Hitler as Irma.

That would be extremely difficult to accomplish considering that Hitler was cremated so hard there was absolutely no remains at all. Not even little bones. Then scattered to the wind.

It makes no sense why they'd have a deep voice for a character that has a high pitched voice but then again, nothing about this movie makes any sense. If this is supposed to be a live action version of the Fred Wolf cartoon which it clearly is, then go whole hog and cast someone with an irritating high pitched voice.

Granted I'm not watching more so can't confirm rafters vs "ceiling" but that sounds like a match.

Anyhow... they've changed Krangs actor last minute?? Is that like a thing with them or what.

That would have been the perfect finishing touch.

If we can't have him for Casey, let's have him for Krang. Or better yet, let's have him stuff a shirt, put on a wig, and play April.
