I think a large percentage of us would be fine with that. Quality over quantity, please.

What the absolute **** does that Vern clip have to do with the movie?

Like, seriously, why is it in the movie? What purpose will it serve? Unless Melo's going to be Krang and Vern's going to unmask him, that scene is entirely pointless, unnecessary, and just eats away at the budget.

In short? Product placement and celebrity cross-promotion = $$$. And Michael Bay really loves money.

In my opinion, It's better than nothing. And it's starting to look promising.

Spoiler:
Apparently the movie starts off @ a Knicks game, where the Turtles are hiding in the rafters to enjoy the game live in secret - during the half, a ceremony is conducted to honor Vern for saving the city in the last film - he gets presented with the key to the city, and the crowd to treated to a quick montage of the last films events to honor the 'heroics' of Vern. Its treated as a way to transition from the last film without having to go into too much detail.

Where that particular clip fits into the story, I am not sure but I heard from several spoiler reviews on YouTube that his part is brief, and never detracts from the overall storyline.

Interview with Stephen Amell on The Morning Show in Canada, go to about the 14:50 where the interview will start.

TMNT 2014 made a lot of money despite being an awful movie. This movie probably will do well given the nostalgia for Bebop/Rocksteady/Krang alone.

when checking out Stephen Amell's facebook page and you see people saying they are only seeing TMNT 2 because Amell is in the movie not because its a TMNT movie.

That face you make

But sadly I guess we can't say it is all that surprising. I mean, they include various people and elements for a reason.... only in effort toward payout, not the outcome of the overall film itself.

Megan Fox - check
Megan Fox in Catholic schoolgirl disguise - check
Amell for his fans - check
Amell abs for female (straight) fan draw (and the gentlemen who like it too) - unknown
Tyler Perry, Will Arnet, NBA fans - check
Bebop, Rocksteady and their actors - check
Stuff for fans of cars, highway chases and explosions - check
Turtles for actual Turtle fans - more check than last time?

Yeah I'm okay with that.

I'd rather have nothing at all than a bunch of garbage every two years.

It's already better than the 1990 movie just from those few clips.

For those living in Toronto, Stephen Amell just posted this on Facebook.
https://www.facebook.com/stephenamel...64015673683699

Facebook… I have 30 tickets for the Turtles screening tonight in Toronto. Here's what you need to do… Send a photo with you in some cool turtle stuff, or just a cool photo in general… Of course… you have to be in Toronto... Get people to like your photo… And you can come.
