Someone's upset because of what I said about Emily Blunt.

Even if you hate everything about these films, that trailer was put together well, got over 20M views and got a lot of people pumped. It should have been enough. Word of mouth goes a lot further than overexposing the footage
I agree to a point - you gotta remember that we (and by we, I mean us Turtle fans) are really the only demographic that actively seek out all the material they put out for general consumption - by in large tho, the general populace will only ever see a small percentage of it.

I remember talking to my brother in law about Civil War, asking him if was going to see it, and he told me he only saw one commercial during a ball game. And by that time, 2 trailers, and over a dozen tv spots were available online.

Paramount knows that by in large, they have the TMNT-hardcore, and casuals - Im will to bet their marketing is geared to getting everyone else on-board.

Yeah, even TMNT 2 is being promoted during WWE shows.

Maybe it's just my computer cause I watch Ninja Turtle stuff all the time, but it seems like every commercial on YouTube, and Hulu are for this movie. My wife said to me last night; "If I have to hear that guy from Arrow say "who are these guys?" One more time, I'm throwing the computer out the window!"

I say safe guard the PC simply because Amell is gonna keep asking the same question until the sequel hype dies down. It has become apparent that the same clips keep getting used over and over for these trailers.

Frankly, I'm getting tired of seeing Raphael going splat on the damn windshield of the plane. :l Of course I could do myself a favor and stop watching the movie clips altogether..

Oh thank god, I was worried they weren't going to give him any time in the spotlight.

Its clear to me that they hired Stephen Amell for his fan-base - and it looks like they are going to milk that fan-base for everything its worth.

Which just makes it all the funnier to me when I read that Turtle fansite "review" about how this Casey was a "fresh spin" and "different from the norm" and "if you just take it for what it is you'll enjoy it."

Warms my cockles.

Just like Sheamus to tap into the WWE fanbase. It's all very transparent.
