Hey guys.... How much are you paying for the basic figures in US? I noticed the price in Malaysia increased by 50%.

Ok, currency exchange problem then.
Another question... which is the better Bebop in everyone's eyes?
Pink or purple?

I've got one of each and I think the purple one looks far superior. Not only is it more movie-accurate, but it also is more Classic Turtles accurate. And it just seems to make it "pop" more in my opinion.

I prefer the pink. It's more vivid and attention-grabbing.

The purple looks so much better in my opinion.

I can totally understand that. The pink, I feel, blends better with the rest of his skin tone. The purple is more jarring and bold. Personally, that's why I like the purple better because it does stand out more (and of course the movie-accurate-ness of it), but, in my opinion, the pink seems to match the rest of the character's palette better.

Either way it's nice. I prefer the purple though, I like it to be as accurate as it is originally presented.

Exclamation Basic Michelangelo variant?!

Cowabunga!
I figure I would double check; has a fellow dromer discovered a variant to the OotS basic Michelangelo? I'm aware of the Pirate Costume Mikey, but wanted to focus on any running changes (like the pink or purple shades on Bebop). Thanks in advance

It seems that the newer wave figures show several changes. I noticed on the Raph I got (the only one I didn't buy first wave) that the leg pegs are no longer green and colored appropriately, and the weapons are not that soft, gummie plastic, even the hands which were soft on the earlier figures seem tighter.

Well, the two-packs have color variations, but you probably knew that already.

With the exception of the "Vs" twin packs, all but Bebop are in the same colors as they were in the first wave.
The second wave of figures include Casey (no mask) and April in the cases and should be available in the US in June - well, now really !!

Where in stores like Wal-mart are the OOTS blind bag figures supposed to be? I didn't see them in the toy aisle or on any of the rounders featuring figures from the film. Not exactly a surprise, 'cause places around here are always behind, but perhaps I just missed them.

Thought maybe I'd grab Bebop & Rocksteady today if I could find them, but alas.

Mind you, I'm in Canada but strangely, my local Walmarts keep them in the Lego and construction kit aisle and not anywhere near TMNT. Best of luck!

It occurred to me after I got home that they might be there, 'cause it's where they keep the Megabloks blind-bags. I'll have to check that aisle on my next visit. Thanks!
