Realistically, it'd probably be about 4 or 5 years at least. At least I'd hope so -- just rushing a movie out as quick as possible is pretty much why we got this mess in the first place.

I say TMNT2 needs to bomb very hard in the next few weeks, at the current pace I think they'll still greenlight a sequel. They have a lot invested in the turtles for them to reboot it. They might change a lot of things or plans they had but they won't reboot it yet.

They'll keep counting on China's black market practices to fund more of these, I'm sure. No matter how it is received, they seem determined to force this version on the public.
