The Ninja Sword of Nowhere

Another episode I've recently looked back on from the third season. Another one I remember reading when it was adapted for books, I saw the episode a few months later.

Bebop's line about commuting, the module coming up in the laundromat, and Michelangelo offering to pay the antique owner with the leftover food in the Turtle bank were side-splitters. Also it had one of the more competent and compelling Shredder/Turtle fights.

Would be a cream of the crop episode, but Thom Pinto as Raphael ruins it.

Yeah, that is a major put-off. Always hated when that happened even when I was younger. They think we don't pick this sort of thing up?

Why did Shredder say to Bebop and Rocksteady there was nothing when they were jumping between rocks beyond all reality? There were several rocks drifting around there.

Decent episode. It was reviewed in another topic but I'll repeat what I said about it here. I hadn't watched the episode in years and it was fun to rewatch. I liked that Shredder was protrayed as somewhat of a threat, but the ending could've been written better.

I thought there were some good dialogue between Shredder and Splinter in limbo.

Splinter: There are still a few lessons that the student can learn from the master.
Shredder: And a few that the master will never learn.

The good thing is Raph only has like 4 lines in this episode so you barely hear him. Imagine if Raph had a big role?

I felt bad for April when she had to confess to Burne about the news van.

A cool episode, and one I borrowed heavily from for my TMNT/Gargoyles crossover. The sword plays a pretty big role in the story (it has somehow ended up on Earth again) and is the cause of a major battle in which Michelangelo gets badly injured. So not only do his brothers have to get the sword back they have to deal with his injuries as welk- using an item from another episode, the Medilaser. I also used the Sword of Tengu from 2k3 in another related tale, so both swords feature in the storyline.

As to the epusode,it is definitely one of the better ones from that season and had one of my favorite fight scenes between Shredder and Splinter.
