No one knows who those are. Most people know Hal Jordan, and maybe John Stewart from the Justice League cartoon. But overall they all might as well be the same character to the general public.

Its kind of funny that 40-50 year old men act like childish fanboys with their DC Vs. Marvel stuff.

When you're a teen on message boards that's kind of acceptable even though stupid, but a 40-50 year old man in the industry? Its like they're mentally retarded adult man-children.

They should all be fired and expelled from the industry.

They're giving people what they want. Just like any politician or televangelist.

As much as some people complain about mediocre content from Marvel and DC, the sh*t still makes money.

Yeah, you shouldn't be worked up cause a director just yelled "F*ck Marvel!" to a bunch of DC fanboys.

I'm sure Marvel fans would think the same thing with DC.

That makes little sense though, as most fans of DC or Marvel superheroes like at least some series from the other company. They're basically insulting their own fans.

You think someone who likes both Batman and Spiderman for example wouldn't take offense if some DC or Marvel rep said the other franchise was terrible? Its like they're insulting their own fans. It doesn't make sense that there wouldn't be fans of all superheroes in these conventions.

Its as if a DC/Marvel rep said, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sucks and you should be ashamed for liking it." I would have gotten some people to go ape-**** on him.

I like both, but DC has been killing it in the comics department. Marvel's sh*t is unreadable and I'm fed up with their company. Marvel has the better toys though. Overall I can care less about the movies.

I read DC sporadically.

Do those of you who follow current Marvel or DC stuff still bother with monthlies or do you wait for the trade paperbacks?

So what you're saying is both companies have their pros and cons. Too bad not everyone sees it like you do, homie.

I regularly read a number of the Batman/Bat-family titles... some are still quite good.

There were a lot of unhappy voices when it was revealed that it was going to be Hal in the movie and not John.
I'd prefer John myself, though if I'm honest my favorite Earth Lantern is Gardner.

He's like...the internet troll of the GL Corps.

I never got into ongoing Bat books.
Periphery stuff like "Gotham Central" and one-shots sure, but the only ongoing I ever got into was the first reboot of Blue Beetle. I tried to get into Green Lantern for a while, but...I never could get into it.

May I shape and mold your entire arsenal of opinions regarding Batman, his rogues gallery, and his supporting cast?

Pretty much. The way I see it

Marvel
-bad new comics
-good old comics
-good toys
-some good cartoons
-great characters
-daredevil netflix show

DC
-good new comics after a period of sh*tty comics
-bad, bad, bad toys
-good cartoons
-good a list characters
-meh tv shows

Movies go down to opinion

Sorry about getting caught up in the moment and saying f*ck Marvel. Someone said it. I echoed. Not cool. Respect for my brother filmmakers.

People might believe the apology was sincere if this wasn't the 4th or 5th time he's said something like this.

I don't understand the need for him to continue pushing the divide between the fans.

So how likely is this movie to create a sales boost for the SS comic, or to inspire spin off series for the different lesser known characters?
