xD I agree. A shredder plot without Krang distractions would be nice. Still, I don't mind the krang thoough

Looks like Newtralizer and Renet will be coming back soon.

My theory: Newtralizer was a professional bounty hunter, like Armaggon.

Ok so now that City at war is finished:

As most of us have expected, the “Dark April” theory is now canon and is getting serious.

We can see that the fragment is starting to corrupt her, and, apparently, always when she has feelings of anger or despair. Because of the fragment, we can say that April was about to do something really bad.

But it seems that Donnie knows that fragment can corrupt her (well, we heard him talking about corruption in “Riddle of The Ancient Aeons”, but this episode clarifies that Donnie knows what’s going on with April), so he could stop her and make her being aware of her actions in time.

The two ninjas are leaving the place, but obviously Donnie's still worried about that weird thing, and surely he will be during the next episodes

Because you never know if April will feel anger or despair again, and what evil things she could do … (seriously, this is looking like Dark Phoenix from Xmen more and more).

Donatello better keep an eye on her from now, because I’m 100% sure this scene is just a foreshadowing of something really worse, and maybe it will include a development of Apritello.

Well, Newtralizer has appeared in both intros of Season 3. Didn't see him in any of S3 episodes, but he actually might appear now as we have Mona and Sal in the show.

Newtralizer hasn't appeared since Season 2. It really is bizarre he wasn't in any of the space eps with Mona Lisa and Sal Commander.

Well, he wasn't supposed to be in this episodes, I'm pretty sure he's still on Earth. He doesn't really have any reasons to come back to his race or fight against them. And even if he does, why leaving them in first place?

Oh, boy! I'm really worried about "Dark April" now. If she goes dark, I have a VERY bad feeling about this.

I don't understand why the Shredder ended so bad. I mean, Splinter didn't hit him so hard. Anyway, the mutagen makes me suspect about SuperShredder too.

I really hope Karai won't let her wish for revenge to consume her. Even if she manages to destroy the Shredder this way (which is very doubful), she would only have managed to give the Shredder a victory. Karai would be, indeed, a worthy inheritor of the Shredder's sick legacy.

One more thing, guys. I think you should take a close look into the new intro and the previews. Karai said she wanted to end the Shredder and restore the honor of the Foot Clan; but there's something wrong about all this. I have checked the new intro and the previews, and it seems Karai is going to recruit her own ninjas against the rest of the Foot Clan. These new ninjas look regular humans, in contrast of Shredder's robotic and mutant soldiers. But the point is, these ninjas are actually wearing the old uniform of the Hamato Clan, not the Foot Clan!!!

Haven't you noticed these human red ninjas look like the ninjas of the Hamato Clan that the turtles met when they traveled back in time, before the tragedy that destroyed Hamato Yoshi's old life? I don't think this is a mere coincidence.

Okay so what I think about the ending of City at War is that the Mutagen used on Shredder was modified to strengthen him, not to mutate him. I mean we saw this in Within the Woods with the Mutagen Medicine used on Leonardo, but this failed. But since we've actually seen Baxter Fly doing stuff with the Mutagen like modifying it for mutations, is possible that he also modified this Mutagen to strengthen Shredder without any mutations.

But since Super Shredder will come soon to the show, I was thinking what if when Shredder gets another dose of the Mutagen, is possible that the Mutagen wasn't modified to strengthen him and instead mutates him. Like maybe Shredder is hurrying Stockman or Stockman accidentally uses actual Mutagen rather than this modified Mutagen.

Super Shredder will probably remain in his human form like the second movie or videogames, just show him stronger with more muscles and likely 10 feet tall or something.

According to several people theorizing with April, and especially with that crystal obtained in the space arc, they believe she's going to turn into a villain briefly. Possibly like Jean Gray from X-Men; right now, I personally don't believe it. Even with the evidence of foreshadowing, it's being blown up for no reason.

In the Space arc they encountered some aliens that had agreed to hide a piece of the Black Hole Generator. They had never allowed technology onto their planet before and became obsessed and fascinated with it. And in their fascination they became corrupt. As thanks, they gave April a crystal that should guide her and help her. At the end of the episode, Donnie mentions it seemed that anyone could become corrupt and the shot pans to April looking at the crystal in fascination.

The crystal while it has served as a guide to help April focus her powers. It mostly reacts when she's feeling negative emotions such as doubt, frustration, and anger. Which is what happened when Shinigami bested her when she was trying to get back her sword. And even when she got back her sword, she was still expressing feelings of hostility until Donnie told her to calm down.

I don't know if Donnie has truly equated the Crystal to April's hostile behavior. I believe he may have sensed she was being unusually tense, but then again April and Karai have never really been on friendly terms either so that would have added to it. I think it's possible that April won't go fully corrupted until the towards the end of the season such as the season finale or the second to last episode. It could be possible since there is a mystic theme in the next season, she could be an enemy there.

But if it has to be one episode. then I hope it's somewhat akin to that Gargoyles ep "Eye of the Beholder" where Xanatos gives his fiance Fox the "Eye of Odin" and it turns her into a werewolf-like creature until Goliath manages to rip it off of her.
