Watch Mojo: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. Power Rangers

With a highly-anticipated teaser trailer debuting today, Watch Mojo has compared two of the most well-known superhero properties, which are usually targeted towards kids and adults, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers. They looked at five key features of each of the properties and a winner was chosen. I think they made a slight mistake at 8:02. What do you think?

I was going to be mad if
Spoiler:
the Power Rangers won.
I agree on four out of five points. I don't see how the Power Rangers have a superior fighting style to the Ninja Turtles.

Also, who was Emily anyway? A Pink Ranger after Turbo?

I think they meant to say Trini, but they called her by the wrong name. The series had two character named Emily as far as I can recall. One was a girlfriend Jason had in Zeo, who was portrayed by the same actress who played Caitlin in V.R. Troopers, and the other was Emily the Yellow Ranger in Power Rangers: Samurai.

I see. I just don't get how Trini can be mistaken for an 'Emily' unless the narrator watched Samurai thus the name mistake.

Also, I believe you are merging the snow boarding champion that was used to transition Tommy from Kimberly to Katherine with the biker chick Jason was smitten with.

Don't agree that the Turtles were the lesser in the points that they lost but... they chose the more deserving winner.

I don't care about the Power Rangers, but the Turtles have never been invincible fighters anyway, so it's no biggie.

I guess he doesn't qualify as African American to cubed because he doesn't say things like "yessa massa", "sup dawg", "yo", "kill whitey" and "shee-it negro!"

For the fighting one, and weapons, I felt the Turtles should've won. Yeah Power Rangers have big Zords, but Donnie can build one, and in the Nick series, he technically did.

Was thinking the same, that he'd just make the Turtles their own.

The Turtles are also very clever, they are good at winning against odds that seem impossible.

Love Trini, Rest in Peace for the actress who didn't even make it to 30.

I loved the Turtles as much as the next person, but I think the Zords are a force that is a bit too strong for the heroes in green. Don is great at making things, but I cant see him building something that would match a Zord with a light savior lol.

True, but the bottom line here is that he probably could.

I was skimming through the video, and I found that at 2:10, they labeled the 4Kids series as being from Paramount in 2012. Journalism is dead.

But Paramount/Viacom distributes that show now, so in that sense it actually is correct.

I'm a big stickler for up-to-date copyright info.
