I'm excited for the Super Shredder episode but I don't think Splinter will die. It won't happen.

Yeah I doubt it's going to happen in the next 3 episodes but it's probably going to happen in either episode 23 or 24 or 25.

I dont see why Splinter would die. The show lead us to think he would be dead two times already. I dont believe third time will be the charm.

Actually only once in Annihilation: Earth, we saw that Splinter is alive at the end of The Invasion.

Anyway Splinter was only dead for a few minutes in Annihilation: Earth because the turtles went back in time 6 months.

Yeah but the Turtles, April, and Casey had their thoughts of Splinter already being dead after The Invasion. Even Shredder and The Foot Clan thought he was dead as well.

Also I think that with Super Shredder here for the last episodes of Season 4, I am certain that Shredder will die in Owari. I mean in many incarnations, Shredder has died and it wouldn't be a surprise if this also happens in this show again. Also I think he will die since Tiger Claw is seen in some other group so I think Shredder will be no more in Season 5.

I also think that Kavaxas will be the main antagonist of Season 5 and the final antagonist of the show. Also I think that if Tiger Claw is no longer with Shredder (since he could be dead), that could also mean that Karai is now the leader of The Foot Clan.

But if this happens, I wonder what will happen with Rahzar, Fishface, Baxter Fly, Bebop, and Rocksteady.

I haven't seen it but I was foolish enough to go on Tumblr and there was a clip where Splinter detonated bombs/eggs? And it blew up some bridge and both him and the Shredder fell, presumably dead. But since we saw Splinter at the farm in the trailer (if that isn't a hallicalution/ and if they don't go to the farmhouse briefly in this episode) he isn't dead. And I highly doubt they will "kill" him three times and then truly kill him in the finale

How do you know Splinter is at the farmhouse, you only see a tree.

Are part of a flashback/Leo's memory (from this episode but obviously happened off screen but we see it in Darkest Plight) - Splinter telling Leo his dream and telling Leo to guide his brothers and friends to stop Shredder.

Yeah I agree he's still alive but he's probably badly hurt in that pit but those scenes are probably from a flashback because if you read the episode description for The Darkest Plight

The Turtle team hunts for their Sensei, but soon realizes they are being hunted as well.

So if they are hunting for Splinter, why is Splinter back in the lair with those scenes that haven't happened yet. It makes sense if it's from a flashback.

I think he will be like obi wan from now on... I could be wrong but we only see scenes with him talking to Leo.

Something I was noticing was the scene in which Splinter was about to be finished off by Super Shredder (scene in where Splinter was pinned on the wall in the Undercity). When Splinter was talking about Karai, Super Shredder got angry and his left arm was becoming deformed due to the instability of the Mutagen (which Baxter Fly had warned him about earlier in the episode).

So I was wondering if this weakness for Super Shredder could actually become important later on like in Darkest Plight or the Season 4 finale to defeat him. I'm not sure but I think a mass amount of anger could cause the deformity. And maybe with much more rage, Super Shredder could end up deforming his whole body.

Maybe he used his healing mantra to heal himself and makes his way out. That's my theory.

Yeah maybe but I don't think the healing mantra would fully heal a broken leg, also we see him in the trailer (which wasn't seen in this episode) climbing or crawling along the floor.

In the trailer we also see Donnie and Mikey wearing that gear they used in the Insecta Trifecta and I saw a promo today before and after the episode where we see Mikey jumping (with this gear on)into the pit.

Yeah but most of scenes are from the trailer except for a moment when Mikey jumped down into something (shouting Booyakasha), presumably to find and rescue Splinter.

Anyone else think that we are going to see a return of the Rat King? Perhaps something similar to the "City at War" comics were Splinter is trapped in a pit with a broken leg?

I was thinking the same thing!
