I'll just assume that we're going to see skeletal remains of the Rat King. From the mention of 1,000 ft, it's probably the producers way of saying that Falco really is dead.

I wonder if we see his dead body, but I doubt it as it be too dark, we probably just see his hat and coat.

By the way I found out what the song from the trailer is, it's Thomas Bergersen - Children of the Sun.

That didn't stop them from putting in a skeleton that looked a bit like Rat King in the episode, Mazes and Mutants. Although that was just an illusion.

After seeing today's episode, I think it's obvious that Shredder has gone completely insane. I really can't wait for the next episode!!!!

I don't know what is going to happen next, but I'm pretty sure both Splinter and the Shredder have survived the fall. Surely, Splinter could use the Shredder to soften the impact at least.

I don't know what was happening to Shredder in the last moments, based on his arm, but something tells me it's not going to be good... Either for him or anyone.

Obviously things have to end that way. The fact that both lived mostly stems from demographic reasons too obvious to mention (not to mention we have salaries to think about). Stuff like that is the reason that I for one, am still floored by the fact that people actually thought "Annihilation: Earth!" spelled the end for either Earth and/or Splinter. You could just as easily imagine someone like Batman giving up his life of crime fighting just because he finds "the perfect woman"

Yes, because you know that for a 100% fact. Any character can show up again especially after the typical ambiguous fall into a void.

What is the point of bringing him back now? How would he even play into next episode? The turtles aren't even going to go back down there seeing as how they've got quite a bit on their plate right now.
Between Super Shredder, Alopex vs. Tiger Claw, the Adventures of Dark April and the Crystal Shard, control of the Foot Clan, and the possible rise of Kavaxas, these final six episodes have more than enough to cover right now.

As someone who is familiar with Mirage, he's thinking more than you.

This arc is loosely based on City At War from the Mirage comics, & when Splinter was facing death, the ghost of Rat King helped him survive. Seems like they might be setting that up here.

Wow, the Super Shredder episode was as close to a 10 as you possibly could get. From start to finish, it had me itching with excitement! This is probably my favorite episode of the series so far and I can't wait to see what happens, next!
