Revenge on what? Splinter's death.

Why would he if he was taught revenge isn't the answer. Also Splinter dying would be so much of much of a cliché since we've seen him die once and then loosing his sanity once. Both due to Shredder.

Karai or splinter dying I could totally see Leo wanting revenge for, him becoming like his 2003 season four self would be intresting.

It's been foreshadowed at Splinters death in this fight with Shredder, if that happened I could see Leo beating himself up for it, yah know feeling like it's his fault and being pissed off about it taking his anger out on others, trying to to do whatever it takes to see that doesn't happen again.

I'd love to see that arc in this series

I don't think Leo will be depressed and wanting revenge, he might become more serious and under more pressure because if Splinter dies then Leo won't be just leader, he will also be head of the family so his brothers and friends will be coming to him for advice and training.

Could be but remember Ciro said that someone dies in Earth Last Stand and it turned out that Leo died for a minute and Fugitoid sacrificed himself (but now he's a floating head in space)

So maybe either Splinter dies permanently or someone like April, Donnie ect die for a few minutes and have to be brought back by CPR or something.

I think Za-Naron/April would die together, but then somehow April would come back to life

Oops my mistake, so Brandon might not be trolling then but it could either be a temporary death like Earth Last Stand or a permanent death.

What if the Turtles or just Donatello dies because of Za-Naron/ April. But then once April fights out of the control of Za-Naron somehow, she realizes what she has done and then revives the person she killed with her powers.

She hasn't got healing/revive powers, if any of the turtles die they probably be brought back by CPR or that thing Donnie used on Leo to revive him in Earth Last Stand.

Probably Shredder, is there any doubt about that? Either he dies, we get stuck with a monster or he somehow returns to his human form.

No he should be killed off in the season final and anyway is Shredder even in this episode, it feels like the focus is on April as the bad guy.

Why save him for the finale? You could use that to set up his replacement properly...

Yeah, it'd be pretty forced to make her the new main villain at this point, but they did show her wear the helmet and the show has forced developments over less.

And anyway with those new toys coming out and the Turtles wearing the new gear, it does look like they will be fighting Super Shredder which most likely be the final.

When she started to rebuild the Foot Clan, everyone was worried that it might backfire and the helmet was icing on the cake. As for what would make her straight up become the new Shredder? Not sure, maybe the old Shredder is defeated in a way that causes a change of heart for her, maybe the Turtles defeat him in a way that can be seen as dishonorable or maybe he rescues her at the last moment. Plus, it ties into older material.

It may sound contrived but remember this, we're talking about a character who's character development relied on brain-parasites.

Sorry that doesn't make any sense, Karai wants to kill Shredder and bring honor back to the Foot Clan and if she does take over as head the Foot Clan she will still get trouble from Tiger Claw, Rahzar ect

If the turtles do kill Shredder dishonorable, she's not going to turn her back on Splinter.

You mean Donnie using his Space Bo as a defibrillator.

There is also a possibility of a Tales of... Story Line. In the Tales of Leo episode Splinter points out that the voices of loved ones can call someone back even from the brink of death.

So a possibility is that Donnie or somebody is seriously hurt in the next episode. Let's say it's Donnie for the sake of argument. April attacks both Leo and Donnie and escapes the Lair. Leo is okay, just a few bruises. Donnie, however, is more severally wounded.

Mikey tells everyone that it's April's crystal that's driving her crazy. But once again everyone thinks it's Mikey's wild imagination. Leo says they would go out and find April, while Splinter and possibly Karai stay at the lair and do what they can with Donatello.

The Turtles and Casey find April. April is aware of what she has done and is horrified by it. Leo and the Turtles find her. She at first tells the Turtles to stay away from her but then Za-Ramon starts to take control over her. The Turtles are forced to fight her, sometime in the fight Mikey or Casey realizes that the crystal should be destroyed and attempt to steal it so it can be destroyed.

After April is free from Za-Ramon's control the Turtles return her to the lair. Unfortunately, Donnie's condition hasn't improved...his body isn't strong enough to handle the healing mantra. So Splinter tells his sons it is possible their brother would not survive his injuries, so it's best they take the time to say goodbye.

Nobody is happy about this. April senses Donnie appearing to react to their voices and suggests they continue talking to him. Raph is skeptical, but figuring it's worth the shot Mikey tells Donnie a story from their childhood, Leo follows, even April, Casey, or at the very least Karai has a memory to offer. Raph's memory turns out to be where the chip in his shell came from. Then last memory would be Splinter's which could be their weapons origin. Then finally Donnie regains consciousness, he is still weak from the injuries he has suffered from but would fully recover.

I think they're going to come up with a second level "Healing Mantra", that works almost like a spirit transfer. Give one's life to save another's.

If Donatello sacrifices himself to destroy the crystal and save April, which I'm starting to get bad feeling they may actually do; Splinter could then give his life up to bring Donnie back.

It would then be an effective way to kill off Splinter and pass on heroically rather than just another "Oh, someone killed Splinter." ending.

I don't know. Donnie would never like Splinter, April or anyone giving up their lives so he could live. While he would appreciate their efforts, he still would feel that it wasn't fair that he survived and they didn't.
