I've accepted that the show is going to end. Is it sad? Yes, but that's not to say they can't do a spin-off series in the future if they want to or something else entirely. Either way, we do have the DVDs and if the next show isn't as good we can always watch this one whenever we want.

Unless you count Krang destroying entire planets in Archie, killing off entire species. Second is probably the destruction of Earth at the end of season 3 in the 2012 cartoon.

Was is past tense. I can obviously see it here now. What I asked, was If this has been "known" since November, why is it nobody acknowledged it when I'd asked where the confirmation of it ending was?

You know, I'm looking forward to see what's in store for us, this final season. I'm surprised they still haven't incorporated the Justice Force in this series. Mikey would love for a Wingnut & Screwloose/Justice Force team up.

Next season only has 20 episodes, and they probably don't have enough time for extra fillers now. It is noticeable some TMNT characters were never introduced in this series, even though they went out of their way to showcase a lot of the older ones:

- Man Ray (had a reference and they showed Archie Man Ray), but no appearance

- Merdude (again just a reference)

- Groundchuck and Dirtbag

- Nobody or other superheroes

- The real Neutrinos, as in the aliens.

I hope all mutants who were once human will be de-mutated by the series end.

No ****.

Both of the aforementioned podcasts have been shared on here several times since last November. Anyone just now accepting this is either wilfully ignorant or just skims posts.

As was I. Infact what's funny is back then I was in a similar mindset as to how CyberCubed feels at the moment. When I realized that the original cartoon was no longer being made, I was pretty bummed. But over time I've come to realize that popular TV shows are just like friendships, relationships, jobs ect... they all come to an end, and whoever calls the shots in those cases usually doesn't give a crap how you feel in those circumstances. In the long run though, it's usually for the best anyway; as the old saying goes: When one door closes another one opens.

i was sad , but i don't think i was depressed or annoyed about it.

plus back then we had next mutation to be curious about.

i was more annoyed that all the former turtle fans that caused the show to end had jumped ship to the awful power rangers franchise as the next big thing, i think ;o)

I just hope nick spends a little more time making this next turtles show into something more cohesive and fun

That's expecting waaay to much from this show, dude.

That's like....3 things. All they need to make is a single episode for April's mother. Another ep with Newtralizer, most likely with Mona Lisa/Sal Commander arresting him and bringing him back to their planet.

De-mutating some of the mutants who wanted to be human again is easy, most of it can be shown in a quick montage.

I'm just saying that the show hasn't had a very good track record for stuff like that. What's likely is that those "plot points" will be left unanswered leaving fans hanging, without much closure.

On the other side of things, they would probably just half-ass it,which would definitely upset some people.

They've been wrapping up and following through with all plot lines, and since Ciro seems to have knew ahead of time Season 5 would probably be the last, he probably did his best to wrap up what was left.

I guess we'll find out as it airs, but I have faith they ended the show properly.

It'll end properly... but it won't show all of those things. I can maybe see them do the april mom thing because it'll be the way to feature the kraang somewhere in the final season.

Personally, I can't approach it this way until the show actually ends. For unfinished plots in an ongoing show, how can anyone make the claim that these storylines won't be wrapped up?

I don't think you're paying attention to anything I said, at all.

I'm sure nobody on the board looks through every page of every topic. Which is why when I asked, more than once, if there was an announcement I missed or if everyone was just assuming based on the lack of season 6 confirmation, the only response I got was that it was an assumption. Not one person came forward with "hey there was a thing". That was my only question this morning and for some reason you're turning into this into something it's not.

My only query was, why it was that nobody had said there was confirmation before, when I asked if I missed something. That's it!

I obviously saw the post at the top of the last page (especially since I've specifically referenced it before) and just wanted to know why it wasn't provided as an answer to a question I'd had months ago.
