I also don't understand the Bebop and Rocksteady thing... is it really the FW characters, and Playmates was just lazy and used the modern molds?

Well there is the second Fred Wolf crossover coming up with OT Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady. So we know they'll be there.

I don't think so, nothing has been said about his voice actor.

We know Nick Shredder will play Fred Wolf Shredder since James Avery passed away, and Bebop/Rocksteady have the same VA's as Leo and Don in the OT.

His voice actor is still alive and I think he's not retired yet but he's very old so I doubt he will come back. However, having a scene of 80s Splinter meeting the Nick turtles would be very powerful, even more than turtles forever since the Nick turtles no longer have their Splinter. It would show that despite losing their sensei for good, his legacy will live on forever, both literally in the form of other incarnations and figuratively in his timeless wisdom.

80s Krang will also appear again, so we can expect some of the classic bickering between him and Shredder. I wonder how they will handle this crossover with it being a 3 parter

Yeah, Reneday is still alive. I hope they use OT Splinter to see how the 2012 group reacts to him. Sucks they can't use the 2003 voice cast (we'd probably have the 2k3 Turtles crossover possibly). Whoever voiced him in Turtles Forever did a great job.

Given the events at the end of season 4, I can't help but wonder if the 2012 Turtles will act all extra aggressive towards OT Shredder like OT "the cheese has slipped off of his pizza" Donatello in one of my all-time fav eps.

I'm curious about that myself. Will the current Bebop and Rocksteady start dressing like the old Bebop and Rocksteady because they like their fashion style?

Although it's certainly not confirmation than she'll reprise her role as OT April in Season 5, you can find Renae Jacobs's signature on that series-cast-inclusive poster that was shared online a while back. She signs it as "Original April O"Neil" and "April's Mom."

I certainly hope so. Whether it's "Mrs. O'Neil" or "Fred Wolf April," it's a good bet that Jacobs reprised at least one of her two familiar TMNT roles for season 5, as I can't imagine they'd call her back into the Nick studio just to sign a poster unless it was really convenient for her to stop by.

Hmm, I was thinking that poster was signed at some point last year as a symbolic way of capping the series. But maybe the poster is much older and voice actors simply signed it after recording a character for the first time? I can't say I really know much about its history other than seeing it on social media and these forums.

Take it with a grain of salt, it could be fake but as some of the Mods are quite strict, they would have deleted them by now.

Also apparently someone on there works on the show edits things and adds titles so it could be him.
