A Mad Max homage? We're facing the prospect of the series ending on a Mad Max homage? That seems rather odd and random.

For any random episode that would be fine, but it honestly sound like they're gonna end this on a random episode rather than a proper bookend.

Then again, I am the first guy to point out that this show doesn't have a very good plot, so I'm not really surprised.

It's really odd the business execs wouldn't even let Ciro give a proper final episode if that were the case.

Ciro doesn't really matter in the first place, I doubt the show we got is all that similar to the show he pitched.

I don't think the last episode will be filler just because its desert themed.

I don't think Carmageddon will be inspired by Mad Max or be a racing episode. Rather, I think the title is more of a spin on the word 'Armageddon' which is the name for the final battle between good and evil before the day of judgement in the New Testament.

I'm thinking it will be a final battle between the turtles and the Kraang in some sort of post apocalyptic setting, hence the references to deserts and wastelands.

Anyway as season 5 is ending in the future, will it be similar to SAINW,

Like will The Turtles have permanent injuries.
Will there be Character deaths
Will Season 5 end on a happy note or end in tragedy,

Well it's obviously going to have Mad Max references in it, but these last episodes will probably take place in post apocalyptic future, which does sound serious to me.

Even if there isn't a serious finale that wraps the show up, atleast we have Owari which was a great episode.

After all, this season is Tales of the tmnt rather than their main story.

I like all four season finales who've aired yet from the 2012 series.

If we do have a bookending finale, I think it should be a final battle with the Kraang in which the turtles finally free them all from mind control since they were the main villains, arguably even bigger than the foot.

The Battle for New York was a great two parter but its been more than a season since that happened and the Kraang still aren't defeated.

Even though Shredder is dead, The Foot Clan will have their final closure in the second crossover most likely, assuming the title "The Foot Walks again" is correct.

Also, I hope all mutations of humans are undone. I'ld be great to see the turtles riding their baloon over the streets, and spray antimutagen-rays.

Do you mean henchmutants such as Bebop and Rocksteady or just random mutants like Muckman and Pigeon Pete?

All the humans of the city were already de-mutated in the Battle for New York.
