I really hope Shredder is voiced by a Japanese man for once. I mean they always give Splinter a Japanese accent, but Shredder is either voiced by black actors or just a white guy.

Shouldn't Shredder talk with a Japanese accent like in the live action movies because he's...y'know Japanese? I have no idea why we've never had a cartoon Shredder who actually speaks like a Japanese man after all this time.

There is no misogyny. At least not on my part. I would have been equally befuddled by Splinter being redesigned as obese man with iPad and a hipster sweater.

Replacing interesting characterization with stereotype from Internet, just to pander to some demographic, which probably doesn't give a damn about work in the first place, is rather dubious idea.

It's been my experience that when people slag on Tumblr what they're really slagging on are women/girls. Same thing with Pinterest.

So, while you might not intentionally think you're being misogynistic, you're doing a good job of virtue signally that it's somewhere in your OS.
