New Show coming in 2018

So have any wrestlers ever played an ally or neutral character in TMNT? The four I can think of (Kevin Nash, Jesse Ventura, Sheamus, and now Cena) have all been antagonists, although at least Ventura's characters ceased his actions so he could start a family with Bigfoot.

Stephen "Arrow" Amell (Casey in OotS) has wrestled a couple of times in WWE, hasn't he?

I kinda figure this show will do its own thing for the first season, setting up things near the end to transition into a more traditional Ninja Turtles series, similar to the first two seasons of "The Batman." By the end of it , Draxum will probably be defeated, Shredder teased, and Raphael either stepping down or being stripped of the leader position by Splinter.

I feel like they are a FAR smaller group than they used to be. and unknown celebrities or celebrities with more 'natural' sounding voices are cutting into their bread and butter far more than they used too.

I just hope it stands to reason that since Nickelodeon is determined to keep a TMNT show on the air, that this means they are also hard at work on figuring out a way to make another, better film.

Well, despite what everyone else thinks, I am pleased with what we know so far, and am optimistic about this new series, and the future of the TMNT. If Nickelodeon hadn't bought them we would possibly have been facing the death of the brand once 2003 ended and PL basically gave up. Nickelodeon have breathed some life into the TMNT and for that I am grateful.
We've always had some degree of mysticism and magic in the show. 2012 had its fair share of mystic and ethereal plots. It is part of what it is already. Sometimes we've had a lot of sci-fi, and other times we've had mob bosses, mutants and just plain stupid villains. Everyone has their preferences about what they like, but I personally am open to magic and mysticism, and look forward to seeing what they do with it.

Agreed. I really want to be able to put the few details that we DO know to some visuals. It would help a lot. I suspect we shall know more very soon, though.

He didn't "basically give up." Nickelodeon came at him with 63 million reasons to give it up... to them. So he did. He wasn't shopping TMNT around or anything, they came to him with the offer completely out of left field.

I just like TMNT, any TMNT, to be on the screen, regardless of quality. This makes me happy.

Everyone has their preferences about what they like, but I personally am open to magic and mysticism, and look forward to seeing what they do with it.

I'm not really against the TMNT using magic on principle, though it's a little bit concerning that the magic angle is such a big part of what's to emerge that it's built-into even the initial most press release. *shrug* It doesn't really matter, though.

Everyone can have an opinion, and we will never truly know what he feels insde at any given moment, but to me, that sounds like he gave up.
