All I want from this show is good humor, good action, and good animation. Hoping the teaser gives us a feel of all three of those things.

But dislike, like as in other general fans of the turtles. Not the person themselves. I've already seen how hostile this place can get, but over other reasons.

Hmm.
It's like...early Dexter's Laboratory in animation style. Which is a jarring contrast to the smoothly animated 2k12 series.

I'm still liking the voice cast.
Leo being the snarky voice of reason works for me.
Don being frustrated works for me.
Mike and Raph being short-sighted idiots works for me.

I'm not sold on Splinter's design, then again...I really wasn't sold on his design the first Nick go'round, so there's that.

Feels a bit stiff. I still like the designs & general look, but the animation style or whatever leaves something to be desired (I wish it was more fluid). Looking forward to it either way! It's something new in both senses of the word.

That was okay. Not too bad, not too good.

The animation is very kinetic and slick, I was worried about that. It improves the the designs.

Cena sounds weird.

Meat Sweats looks creepy enough that he can be a good villain.

I dig Splinter watching kung-fu films. (What else should a sensei watch?)

Donnie is going to make or break the show with his Sheldon attitude and tech.

What I can say that is positive: I think the city and the backgrounds have a neat look to them. I'm liking the colors and atmosphere I'm seeing there.

Other then that, I'd say they missed the mark. I welcome change, reinvention, and fresh new ideas, but I don't think this highlights what is special about TMNT. It's challenging to articulate, but it feels like you could replace these four turtles with any fun-loving brothers at this point and you'd have the same show.
Lastly, my major complaint with most television animation these days, rings true here as well - it doesn't look good. It's not smooth, luscious or pleasing to the eye. Why? Well obviously because that would be expensive, time consuming, and I'm assuming it's also been proven that it won't lead to improved toy/merch sales, etc.
That's too bad for me, because I see animation as the main selling point to a cartoon. It's so visually oriented, so why would I want to stare at something unappealing?

Look, I'm just nitpicking and giving general impressions off of what I've seen. That said, I do hope it brings people some joy, without derailing the rest of the franchise along the way. Enjoy.

I like it. The stiff animation really does remind me of 80s show, but its pretty fast paced as well.

Either way...looks ok, I guess. The animation isn't as good as I thought it would be. Definitely seems like it's going to be the weakest of all the TMNT cartoons we've had so far, but it might still be enjoyable.
