That's not true, lots of women come back from being lesbian (the Anne Heche syndrome). Its dudes that really don't really waver. Once -- and this is me paraphrasing how a funny fellow once illustrated it to me -- a dude becomes gay, it's generally speaking "a vortex of ass from which there is no return."

And that seems to be true... I've never really heard of any dude un-becoming gay but I've known women who going into their 20s identified as lesbian, but by 30 were only into dudes and never really looking back.

Not to mention that "Gay Until Graduation" is a legitimate college phenomenon. Especially amongst conservative women who just want to "experiment" a little before they have to settle down and raise a family. Which in turn leads to a lot of lesbians hating bisexual women, because they feel like they wear same-sex attraction like a Halloween costume that can easily be taken off and discarded when convenient.

The whole "shades of gay" thing is very fascinating. It's like Dr. Venkman's laundry thesis: "I have more than just two grades of laundry; there's not just 'Clean' and 'Dirty', there are many subtle levels." So it goes with women and same-sex attraction.

If I were a chick I'd probably be into chicks. For one thing, boobs are awesome. Beyond that, though, lots of guys won't chow the beaver, and most chicks I know say that the guys who will are crap at it, which is why those chicks keep chicks on the side. Makes sense to me!

I assume many of those women eventually realized they wanted to have children, so they go back to men after having some lesbian fun when they're younger. Of course some do stay lesbian permanently, so there's that too.

The thing is there's not much stigma against lesbians. Men like lesbians, straight women like lesbians...and even lesbians like lesbians...which is kinda ironic when you stop to think about it. So it makes sense that it's so common. But yeah if I were a female I'd be a total lesbian for sure.

I think Mister Ogg from the classic series was a homosexual. There is nothing about him that seems like a straight guy. However, since he is from dimension z you never know.
