I thought at one point he said it'd be Muckman, but I could definitely be mistaken.

I'd venture to guess that either Muckman, Ultimate Foot Soldier, or Mondo would be a safe bet, though.

Yeah. But it’s nit really a 1 to 1 comparison since the animated one is limited and comes with a few more things.

I bet you can sell it to someone here for twice what you paid since it’s not going to get a second release. I’m kicking myself for not getting it and I have the movie version already.

_IF_ NECA does go and release that rumored Turtle Lair playset that attaches underneath/acts as a base stand for the cartoon diorama next year, you can bet that the after market price of the cartoon street scene will skyrocket if it’s not made available again.

I like how the last lootcrate came with the wanted poster stickers that can be added to the diorama, but I can see how that is going to frustrate those who ordered the diorama and not the lootcrate.

Dude... that is never good rationale for an end user of a retail product, OMG. And this is coming from me - a guy who owns an LLC aftermarket sales business.

See, that is the problem with the action figure environment today. That mentality - I'm not calling you on it, I'm not. I'm discussing it, but nevertheless that mentality is a primary illustrator of the problem. It might even be the mechanism of action by which the entire environment has become "boutique" and outlandish. All that many of these companies are doing is expanding vertically by siphoning as much as possible off of the current collecting population. There is very little to no horizontal expansion (of worthwhile value product at least) and there is certainly limited horizontal expansion of the buyer base.

I’m saying if he has buyers remorse he won’t be out any cash. He can still cancel it if he wants and be fine that way as well.

Yeah. I def never would say to “buy a figure to invest in for later”. Buying something that you “hope” you can flip for more later etc is dumb.

Buy what you want because you want it. Not because you think “it’ll be worth more down the line”.

I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting the cartoon diorama. I got the movie diorama and thought it was sufficient. I even ordered the lootcrate posters (because I totally missed the bunny crates) from ebay for $13. I pasted them onto the movie diorama and am wondering if I did the right thing. The movie diorama was released multiple times, I kind of assumed that the cartoon counterpart would also be re-released. I should have just bought it from the NECA store when I can and put it in storage till I figured out what to do with it.

I hope the sewer diorama work as a standalone as well. I don't have room in the space I dedicated to the movie dio.

While the movie diorama is quite versatile and works as a generic backdrop for a lot of toylines, the cartoon diorama just "pops" more.

I appreciate NECA trying to be more communicative this year buuuut it almost doesn't count when none of the info they're communicating doesn't end up panning out. I'm waiting on the Slash/Leatherhead 2-pack. In January it was scheduled to deliver in February. At the end of February they changed it to March. In March it turned to April, now here we are at the end of April and it has changed to May.

I get it. There are a lot of things out of NECA's control that are causing all of these delays. I'm not really upset. But it's a bit silly at this point.

Slash and Leatherhead.... How is it possible that we are rounding a the corner to a year since the pre-order launched and these haven't shipped.

They were from an initial wave of the line. They were repurposed from the video game figures for animation. They were already available in stores. It's ridiculous.

I hear ya. I posted it more for the estimates on the recent run of preorders than updates on the previous ones though.

Slash/Leatherhead seems to be the most popular one and hardest to get. Neca needs to step up producing more of the ones before deciding which figures to sculpt and manufacture next.

I've given up on the 5 Targets within 20 minutes. They never have any NECA TMNT stuff. You're lucky if you see it once a year. The NECA distribution through them is a joke.

I scored the Punk Frogs today at a Target. I think they're really cool looking. I'm not sure if this is the case for everyone else but good grief it seems like on the the Turtles stuff sells for them because they always have TONS of Back to the Future stuff and things like that. Anybody else notice that?

I've got everything on that list except for the April and the Foot Soldier 2 pack. I was insanely disappointed with the design for April because I love the first movie so, so, much. I love all the other NECA toys though.

Most of them yeah but I did have someone get me the Slash and Leatherhead for Christmas and I've never seen them in the wild. I've also got the Casey and Raph in Disguise that was found in the wild but I've never seen another one besides the one I have. I also have all the Turtle 2 packs from the film as well that were found in the wild but I've not seen them again either.
