I really hope that's the case, or these figures are going to skyrocket in value. NECA could always claim that there's not enough demand for them (and not re-release) and most folks wont protest (as these guys aren't anywhere near as sought after as their movie counterparts).

I realize it's all semantics, but this is probably the best way to look at it. I picked up an April on there to get the corrected knees, and I'm certain she's a "from the factory" figure, but no official release is going to be shipped to me out of the packaging. I think it's fine as long as you know what to expect.

Passed on the Turtle van but did get me a nice Neca haulathon TMNT 4 pack and pizza monster. Also finally got the TID 4 pack a while ago and it's the matte finish one. I just need my Scumbag set and I'll be golden.

KO's are people taking official releases and then recasting/copying them. Usually that doesn't happen until a figure has been released a ways out.

Well I've said my piece on why I would classify these as KO, and explained my reasoning. The point that I should really underline is "But the QC isn't the same" - these vendors will put out stuff that NECA might reject.

Also just to add strength to my argument if "They ARE approved. Vendors get them and sell them like all other vendors" is true then why is this vendor calling it "NECA 54257 Violent Samurai Rabbit action figure toy anime"

Anyway...apparently I'm getting official NECA product at half the price. And earlier delivery. Sweet.

That, and the mousers (or "kill robot mouse," as the case may be) aren't even coming to vendors presently. I can't speak to the QC (my April had no issues), but these are definitely being sold out the backdoor.

Like many past toon turtles, they are starting to appear from overseas sellers and you can get them at a pretty decent price.

Usagi sold out yesterday, he was $27.90, then restocked at around $33 but now is around $42. Mousers also saw an increase. The seller keeps raising he price due to seeing the high demand, but, it's still not exorbitant if you missed them on thenecastore.com and don't want to hunt target later on.

I got some good reports about the reputation of this seller, and I will update everyone after I get mine.

Is is just me, or are all the human characters getting shorter in this line? Rocksteady looks way small here.

Kinda frustrated with this one. So close to a perfect set.

Bebop, Rocksteady and Hamato look pretty spot on to my eyes but Baxter looks strange. Just seems off, especially the face. Which sucks for me since he's my most wanted out of these. I've wanted a cartoon human Baxter figure since I was a kid.

Not sure if I'll bite but probably will. A human FW Baxter figure in any form is something I've always wanted so they probably have me on this one. Oddly enough, he looks a tad better to me in the packaged shot than the close-up staged pics.

Maybe it's the expression they chose. He typically had a worried sort of look, not an overly evil one.
