I'll confess I don't understand the appeal of Black & White Toon Usagi. What set of figures do you even pair him with?

i was tempted so i could put him with my usagi book collection in my library, but nah, thats money that can go towards next week.

For me personally, I think he's just very striking. It's a really sharp figure.

Having said that, I was planning to get him but right now he's just sitting in my cart and I can't pull the trigger. Like you said, I don't even know what I'd do with him and I don't need any more figures sitting in their box in the closet.

Looks like B&W Usagi was the first TMNT item of the week to Sell Out.

EDIT And Dreadmon seems to have been the next to sell out, right around 10:14am.

Well - I ordered the Gangsters and that absolutely amazing Spinmaster Keaton RC Batmobile - which looks like a contender for one of the top 5 coolest toys ever made.

Dreadmon showed 2 left when I put him in my cart, but I had to enter a new credit card and by the time I did that he was sold out and removed.

I snagged Zog & Usagi this morning... wouldn't have gotten just the Usagi alone so I am glad that Zog was available. He should fit in nicely with the open set of OG b&w Turtles set I picked up over a decade ago with a destroyed box. Can't wait.

He looks cool (as a standalone) and I picked up Usagi from the Stan Sakai store a while back.

However, having said this, he doesn't make much sense contextually because the design is based on the 87 series, while simultaneously paying homage to the comics. It would have been better if they just did a separate exclusively comic-book dedicated figure instead.

I wouldn't worry too much. He should be on BBTS and other specialty outlets once this Haulathon thing is over.

Saw a mega loaded Target today (one I hit on the 3rd and was barren then) with some Dreadmons, Zogs, and almost everything else. That means the only thing I haven't seen in the wild now is the accessory set. Dammit!

Cool because I need to dig up a Dreadmon. And the truth is that I'm tired of paying so much for these, so I need to dig one up in my own time.
