Look who might return in TMNT 2003 story

Hello, it looks like in TMNT 2003 story that will be in TMNT 40th anniversary comic book will have return of some major character from series, here is who it is:

Shredder from that cartoon might return

Well, even when he went away, the other characters did speculate that he may yet return, so it isn't like this is too unexpected.

I don't think I understand how they ever intended for that to happen though, how do you come back from being erased from existence? Time travel maybe?

Well here is what I think

We saw in TMNT Back to the Sewer Tempus Fugit episode there are wars between 3 Shredders that will take place in near future so that might explain how Ch'rell is back
