The headmistress told me today that I might get a promotion. That makes me happier than it should.

Phew, painful lump is just a cyst, along with another I didn't know was there, both harmless.

I have a cyst from over 10 years ago under my left foot. Luckily it doesn't hurt when I step or walk and it's not really big.

Bottom of foot, that sounds like an annoyance.

Yeah, mine was a "please be a cyst and not breast cancer" situation. Grateful it's the latter. But guess I'll be cutting out caffeine in hopes it will help it eventually go away, or at least shrink down and stop hurting. But I'm not happy about having to (mostly) give up my flavored teas I sometimes live on for work and dark chocolate.

Mom had gone with me so we got lunch after. Stopped by Five Below since it was in the same shopping center. Not sure if more exist, but grabbed a MM series Step into Reading book based on one of the series episodes. I prob won't collect much from that version, but I'll always gladly add more books and the art is nice.

They also have copies of The Art of War and the Way of the Samurai... Own the first, but hadn't seen the second one before, so grabbed that, too.

Not really. I don't even notice it whenever I step or walk.

I am so glad for you. I have a huge nasty looking lump on my neck. The doctor said it's just my head.

I'm glad to hear that they're both harmless.

I don't have a cyst but I had Plantar Fasciitis for a short time. I'm glad it's away now, I have to do stretching every day with my feet to try to keep it away. Was really painful to walk on both my feet, it got annoying really fast because usually I like walking.

Ya know... the most real danger with the AI image generators is getting addicted to it because you find out it 1000% knows how to make good (and rather hot) WoW Blood Elves when given your character's description.

Friend and I recently moved to a new server since the little private we've been on since 2010 seems like it might not be coming back. I always dreaded losing my two mains I've had for the last 15 years, I love those guys (both Rogues, one for each side), but they'd been max level there for ages and have sat around doing not much of anything for a long time... so I'm actually really enjoying having them reborn elsewhere and playing them again and that makes me pretty darn happy.

Yeah, I know no one gives a damn about other people's characters they have zero attachment too, but...

This is Ozoran (or rather some of Bing AI's best tries), and he hasn't a clue it's partly his fault I am up too far past my bedtime. And a good part Bing's fault. Okay and mostly mine.

Bing knows Rogues well, too...with the right info.

And of course, my fave boys would meet...

Edit: Oh yeah, and Cam Clarke voices the vocal emotes, so they've got their own connection already.

Although this one, that doesn't quite feel enough like my Ozo, came out looking like freaking 2003 Casey AND Donnie photobombed in the back and I can't get over it...

I MUST go to bed now.

Seeing the TMNT get a card design in my everyday b-day cards today is nice. Been hoping they would eventually. It's the MM TMNT, but it'll do. One of my other stores started getting a 1987 design last year that's specifically for nephews, so it's nice to see one for anyone. (Well, for kids, but the inside text would prob be okay for most adult fans.)

Edit: The same store has gotten the 2012 version for the cards we use to fill open seasonal space (so only out sporadically in the year as needed) and oddly enough a recent pack of those had the MM logo on back. I would think it was a mistake in the transition to an MM design, but these designs are not used in the same part of the display. Hm.

My pinball neon sign for the man cave came in today. What also is making me happy is drinking my 3rd can in a row of Coors Light, watching arcade/pinball videos and burping out loud. I'm definitely daddy's boy.

My Pepsi neon light sign came in and I can't wait to hang it up below my new Pinball sign that came last Friday.

Also the weather is nice, mild and the air smells so fresh.

Last night and later this afternoon, I like reading a borrowed e-book on arcades and their history. The book covers the arcades in order to when they were released and by their developers. Right now I just got done reading a section about Rampage released in 1986. Oh, I hope the book covers a section of Ninja Turtles 1989 and Turtles in Time, Mortal Kombat I II and Street Fighter II. Those were some of my personal favs.

Got to meet Michael Bell and Brandon McKinney at Sac Comics & Anime today, just now. Since they were both part of the Star Trek universe, I asked either of them if they would go up on one of those Blue Origin rocket cruises like William Shatner or the "infamous" all-female team did; Michael of course said no because he'd be throwing up, and Brandon said he'd love to. Michael said his favorite of all the Smurfs was of course Grouchy, I showed him a behind-the-scenes black and white photo of a Smurfs recording session, him and his fellow voice-acting comrades, the late Don Messick, Lucille Bliss, Hamilton Camp, and Paul Winchell were in the shot, and the still-living Alan Oppenheimer (who Michael keeps well in touch with) and Bill Callaway (whom Michael has no idea of his whereabouts) were as well. He said the Snorks, while it meant more voice work for him, was "creepy" compared to the Smurfs, even though I suggested the underwater world was more "colorful and exciting" than the dry land. I also showed him a quick clip of the 2021 Smurfs series, which he apparently never knew about. Michael and I also reminisced about how Danny Goldman as a casting director got several actors their first gigs, including Michael J Fox, also about Paul Winchell's (aka Gargamel) invention of the first artificial heart, which preceded the Jarvik heart, and also about Michael's patented gray water filtration system invention.

Peter Dutton getting defeated in the Australian election made me very happy.

Screw that wanna-be cuckservative, he deserved his loss. Leftists would obviously not support him, and the radical right will see right through him for being an imposter who doesn't represent them.

This is a message to all 'right-wing' and 'anti-woke' parties. Either become Far Right Reactionaries for real, or we will make sure that the leftists will defeat you.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Went to the Scottish Games in Elkton, MD today. We hadn't been to it in many years, so it was nice to get back there again. Been wanting to go again for a long time, but usually other family members either already have plans or, anymore, it's hotter than we care to deal with for an outside thing.

What's been making me happy this entire week is I have my best friend visiting me, he brought his bike and we have been bike riding, walking around killing time waiting for this Mexican restaurant to open by walking around the fountain park, one day we ordered pizzas from Papa Johns, yesterday we took a bike trip to Golden Corral and eat at the buffet, bike ride back to my house and took another bike ride. Today, we're staying in because it was cooler than it has been lately. What'll break my heart is having to drive him and his bike back to his home tomorrow, but he says he'll try to come back again next month. This is the same buddy that I want to share a home life with together in the future; the same buddy that I've been with for almost 23 years (met July 17, 2002). This has been a great week.

Interesting serial on a $1 bill I got yesterday as change. 69046940 SO close to the first four digits repeating. Prob not really worth much, but tempted to keep it since it's just a buck. The "just for fun" bill checkers online do rate it rather high on coolness level (94.9% cool).
